As the title suggests, I've been tagged. I apologize to everyone who thought this would be a story update. You're free to ignore/skip this if you're not interested in the completely arbitrary things I've chosen to write about me.
1: I'm 20 years old, born on the 14th of march 1998.
2: English is not my first language, it's german.
3: As the previous point suggest, I was born and I still live, in Germany.
4: My favorite dish is pasta bake.
5: At first writing was a way for me to learn how to better express myself and to deviate from my otherwise unemotional nature. Writing now turned into a hobby.
6: I, despite a severe lack of motivation, completed my biological technical assistant (BTA for short) apprenticeship. No, I do not work as a BTA.
7: The origin of my username is a play on my personality. At first I often seem cold, distanced and really shy. All of that turns around completely once I get to know a person
8: I hate half-done things, no matter what they might be. For example. Every time I read a story that caught my attention, only to see the last update was half a year or longer ago, I want to scream.
9: When writing, I often hold back. Not because chapters would end up being 10k+ words long but rather because I don't want to lose my account. Why? I usually don't mince my words. Let's leave it at that.
10: Another thing I absolutely loathe is disrespectful behavior or behavior that is considered inappropriate based on the situation. Don't act like you own the world, use vulgar language around children etc. You're going to leave a really bad impression with me.
11: Trust is among the most important things to me. Breaking said trust is something that I consider unforgivable.
12: I've always been more of a cat-person, despite having grown up with dogs and still living with one.
13: My handwriting used to be so terrible that I was the only one in my class back in elementary school who didn't had to learn cursive handwriting.
14: I have two maternal half brothers. I'm more or less o.k with one of them, while the other one lost all credit with me.
15: Despite being german, I've never touched a single drop of alcohol.
16: While my taste in music in very broad, electro swing is one of my favorite genres.
17: I can't stand the smell of coffee.
18: I tend to overthink things. A lot. The first chapter of my first story was published around 4.30 a.m. More than two hours later than planned.
19: I'm introverted. I rarely initiate conversations myself but once I'm actually in a conversation I talk until my throat is hoarse, which happens quite quick.
20: Several years ago, I used to be able to play the flute. Now I can use it to make horrible sounds.
21: Most of the times I only have a rough idea of where I want my stories to go. I usually make up things as they go.
22: My school time was rough but you know what they say: What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.
23: I'm a gamer with the tendency to play trough games quicker than intended.
24: I hate the summer, or high temperatures in general.
25: While I'm usually a rather easy going person, I tend to be incredibly strict when it comes to enforcing rules especially when it's about security.
26: Roughly 7 or 8 years ago, I had the entire Pokédex up to generation 4 memorized. Including number, type and evolution conditions. I don't remember anything of it nowadays.
27: I'm terribly afraid of highs. Just looking up a high tower while I'm still on the ground makes me feel dizzy.
28: Thanks to my quiet and inconspicuous nature I tend to go unnoticed by most people. One day during my apprenticeship, when everyone was drawing plant cross sections, the person sitting opposite of me forgot I was there. She jumped when I spoke up.
29: I'm a night owl. Most of the times I'm writing from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.
30: I'm terrible when it comes to naming something. I often spend several hours to come up with a name, only to change it at the last second because I came up with something different.
Bonus Point: I have no idea who to tag next. I don't read that many stories on Wattpad, and those I did read haven't showed signs of being alive in months/years.
This was a lot more difficult than I though it would be. Anyway. I hope you, at least somewhat enjoyed thirty arbitrary things about about me. Until the next, hopefully on schedule, story update.
