Felix no!!!

I'll never forget the day I lost it all in a split second. It should have been me who got trapped in a never-ending slumber. Not him he was so young and everyone loved him I loved him. He was everything to me and my only family left who actually cared about me.

Now because of me, he’s gone forever. I looked down as the coffin was being put into the hole in the ground. All emotion seems to vanish from my eyes. A single tear emitted from my left eye and slowly slid down my face blending in with the slow raindrops falling from the sky as it cried along with everyone else.

    I looked up for a brief second and noticed that almost everyone here was glaring at me or pointing at me whispering something to there pears. I already knew they thought it was my fault but they would never understand. I'll always is haunted by the night I Lost, my older brother and the fact that I was blamed for his death. I had always thought it’d be me who would give up their life to save the other and that once it was done everyone would finally see me for me. Sadly it was Felix who chose to jump in front of the blade of a demon in order to save my own life along with everyone else in this miserable town.

It all started One cold rainy night ,fall had just turned into winter and the sky was a dark gloomy grey. Snow had just started to fall as I and Felix started off on our long walk to the main base. We were sent by the elders to come to the main base downtown near the woods in order to get our assignment. We heard very little about it before  hanging but we chose not to question the elders and did as told. when Felix and I both made it to the base we were sent to the settered courtroom where all the big trails took place.I looked at Felix my eyes met his and I knew right then and there we were both more confused than ever. We kept our guard up as soon as the back door slammed closed behind us and the lights went out. Then in an instant, the lights flashed on and a man with glowing red eyes and a sword as long as seating bench stood in the center of the room pointing there blade at us.
I stood there stunned at the fact that a demon was able to break the barrier and manage to break into the base of the elders. Noticing Felix was already in the position I did the same and prepared for an attack.

The demon smirked and in a blink of an eye he was slashing his huge blade right at me and a gas pike I jumped out of the way a bit too late and got grazed on my side. I cried out in pain as Felix rushed to my side and fought the demon back. I was not about to let my brother fight alone so I stood up and joined but once again he targets me but this time faster. I wasn't able to jump out of the way this time I knew this was going to be the end but at least sent down Felix would have a chance to escape or destroy the demon while it's over my body. Instead of it slicing me in half I could hear Felix crying out in pain I looked up not knowing when I had closed my eyes and froze. My only brother had jumped in the way to save my life. I screamed no and stabbed the demon in the neck as it stood there shocked at what had happened. It screamed as burning hot pain filled its entire body before it had exploded into nothing but meat and blood all over the floor. I looked down at Felix's body and dropped to my knees. Soon after my vision blurred and the world around me went black.
