Chapter 2

Lane Storm

12:33 pm

Why am I following him I thought to myself, oh I'm so going to die tonight. I continue to follow him out of the hospital and I think back to what he said "you don't have a family"  how does he know this stuff about me, I don't even know who he is but he know my full name and the fact that my parents are dead.

He walks towards a parked car and unlocks it

"Get in"  he says " Why am I still following you?" I say out loud but the question was more aimed at myself 

"Your intrigued by me and what I say, you mind is making you want to know more and about me, which I'm quite glad is happening because if you don't come with me and I don't get the others people are going to get hurt." he says as he gets into the car, I get in beside him

"What others." I ask slightly more intrigued

"The four others that were beside you in the hospital, I believe one of them spoke to you." he says mentioning the boy what was his name Ken... Kel... Kal "Really, what the chances of us all being in that hospital at the same time."

Callon starts the car and drives out of the parking lot, he turns to me " That wasn't a coincidence, that you were all in that hospital, on the exact same floor, at the exact same time." he says making me wonder how that can be possible.

Twenty minutes later we arrive at a house, it looks like a simple house that would be in any neighbourhood, Callon gets out of the car at the same time I did and begins to walk towards the house, not before locking the car door, he gets to the front door with me behind him and unlocks.

"Ladies first." he says whilst motioning me to go first "Thanks."

I walked in the house on the inside was nothing like the outside, as you walk in there was a big open room with staircase going up, to my left there was an open door that went into a living room and to my right the door was closed but I think it must be a kitchen.

"How is this possible there's no way the house that I'd seen out there could fit all this." I asked shocked at the size of this place.

"Have you ever seen Harry Potter?" he ask me

"Yeah why." I ask curiously

"Well you know Hermonine's bag  the one that can hold a tent in it." he says 

"Yeah." I reply

"Well the house is kind of like that but in house form." he replies

"Harry Potter's not real so that doesn't explain how this is possible." I ask still confused

"Follow me." he says as he heads towards the stairs, I follow behind him and he heads towards a door and opens it.

"This is your room, and I'll explain the rest in the morning it's been a long night." he says and leaves me in the room alone.

I look around the room, the walls are a pale blue colour and there's a double bed in the centre and wardrobe off to the left and a chest of drawers beside that underneath a window, there's two bed side tables either side of the bed, each have a lamp on it that matches the other. I walk towards the wardrobe and open it, there are clothes already in it and there my size as well, I check the chest of drawers and they have clothes in it as well except for underwear I laugh to myself. I walk towards the bed and take off my jacket and put it on the headboard and I get in to the bed and as soon as my head hits the pillow I'm asleep

12:42 pm

I wake up to sun in my eyes and I'm comfortable and sit in quickly and look at my surroundings, memories of last night coming back to me. I get out of bed and head towards the door, I walk out of the room and head down the stairs as I get downstairs I noticed a note on the door I thought led to a kitchen.

"Emma, little trouble with one of the others have to go get them through this door is a kitchen help yourself to any food and I'll be back soon ~ Callon"

I knew it was a kitchen, I though to myself I walk into the room that I now know is a kitchen and I begin to look through the cupboards, as I'm looking a spot a box of what looks to be frosties, I reach for them and begin searching for the bowls, once I find them I fill the bowl with frosties and add milk and walk towards the room that last night that I'd seen was a living room, I sit down and switch on the TV and begin eating.

I had almost finished the bowl when the front door open and heard what sounded to be two people squabbling, I put the bowl down on the coffee table and walk towards the door.

"Oh come on, you think this is my fault we got kidnapped, very funny Arch." one of the voices said " well it is if you hadn't have wanted to go for a drive yesterday we wouldn't have crashed the car and we could have drove today Mich." the other voice said

I open the door to the hall as the two voices keep arguing as I open it the arguing stops and they turn to look at me , I see Callon in the corner of the room looking amused at the two boys.

"You weren't kidnapped you can leave anytime you want." I say, Callon laughs at what I just said

"What do you mean we weren't kidnapped then why are we in a house with a strange man." The taller of the two boys said

"Your very intrigued by what he's saying I was to, speaking of which didn't you promise and explanation to me." I say turning to Callon

"I'll give you an explanation soon I just need to get the others first, I don't want to have to repeat myself like 12 times." he turns to the boys "while I get the other why don't you two acquaint  yourself with Lane over there." he says then he walks out the door

The boys turn to look at me "How long have you been here." the smaller on ask

"Since last night." I reply

"He didn't kidnap you. " the other said

"No actually he saved my ass from social services." I say " I'm Lane by the way."

The smaller one turns me and says "I'm Micah and this is my twin brother Archer." Well Welcome to Callon's place I'm going to finish my breakfast." I say as I walk back into the living room and the twins follow.

"Callon is that his name, he never told us." Archer says " He told me because I asked you probably didn't ask." I say with a laugh

"Did he know your names by any chance, when he first talked to you." I aske slightly curious 

"Yeah he called are names out after the weirdest thing happened, Arch didn't see this and doesn't believe me but, one minute the world was moving next everything had stopped."
