Chapter 4: The entrance ceremony

Akira had looked at the class selection and saw that he and his pals ended up in the same class
"I'm in 2-1, what about you two?" Akira had asked them
"2-1 as well, what about Yoshi?
Just as Hino had said that, Yoshi jumped on the two of them
"We're in the same class!!" Yoshi was clearly too excited
"What class did you get?" Akira had said with a smile on him
"2-1 too"
"We were lucky weren't we?" Hino had told them
"Best to make the most out of this year you two" Akira told both of them
"Yes, Sir!"
"Of course"

Becky was looking at the class selection as well and was kinda disappointed neither of them were in the same class
"Man!, I'm in 2-3" Iris had pouted
"2-2, tough luck I guess..." Mizuki had told herself
"Where did you end up Becky?" Iris had asked Becky
"2-1" as soon as she said that, Iris started clinging on to her
"Lucky!, you get to be in the same class as the golden jewel of Rindou!" Iris kept on pouting
Becky was kind of confused
"Akira Kobayashi, a.k.a the golden jewel of the school, a well known student of Rindou academy since he first entered, he earned first place in the previous school festival for his class, he has also won the international iron athletics with first place, has known to get excellent grades, and he was part of the council of 12 which is said to have equal authority to the principal himself or perhaps above" Mizuki explained to her
"Woah, if he was in that powerful council, what seat did he have?" Becky had asked Mizuki
"Hmm, if the school papers here are precise, he had the 3rd seat, most of the girls here believe he might win the top seat this year"
Becky had turned around to see him and found him talking with his friends, seeing his face, she knew he had good looks, but it was going to take more than looks to get her shy, even though she was shy enough from the looks alone
"We should perhaps head for the gym before we get drawn any closer into this" Mizuki had tried to tell them both
"Y-Yeah" Becky had flustered

Rindou gym, entrance ceremony, Akira's side
"The principal kinda never shuts up doesn't he?" Yoshi had whispered
"Never does, yes" Hino had agreed
"Once he speaks, it gets a little too long"
"Whelp, just roll with it, we endured this once we can endure it again" Akira had whispered
"You have a point" Hino had agreed once more
"Totally" Yoshi whispered back to them
As the principal kept on talking for about an hour, the students went to their classrooms, the trio were already talking with each other until a small but silent commotion came to the class.
" yo, she is the daughter Japan's greatest military family, Rebecca Nakamura " a random guy had whispered
"Bro, she is hot, look at her"
"Damn"
"Lord has blessed us all"
Akira tried to see what was going on but there was just way too many people to see
"Do you know her?" Yoshi had asked Akira
"Nope, not one bit, what about you Hino?"
"Me neither, however I do know who she is"
"Rebecca Nakamura, she is the only daughter of the Nakamura family who were once great leaders in the Japanese army, her father was a general and her mother was an intelligence officer, they both retired about a week ago" Hino had explained
"Quite the someone" Akira said, however Yoshi gave him a look about that statement
"Says the guy who makes all the girls in all three years fall for him and acts like a goofball about it" Yoshi had thought to himself
"Now that I think of it, the Rindou Council of 12 will be selecting new members soon, apparently the selection process will be through track and field" Hino had stated
"The council huh?" Akira had sighed after he said that
"I thought you liked being on the council" Yoshi told Akira
"It's cool, having power that is equal to the teachers and all, which is why I'm aiming for the first seat this year" Akira said with a determined face
"You are as unpredictable as always" Hino had told Akira
"Athletic selections huh?, what time will it be?" Yoshi had asked Hino
"During 4th period"
"Too damn long, but what can we do, right?"
"Agreed" Akira had said

Rindou outside grounds, council of 12 selections, Becky's side
Becky had wondered why the class got pulled outside so she tried asking a fellow female classmate.
"Today the school will hold selections for the seats in the council of 12, and the selection process this year was athletics"
"Do you know who will be competing?" Becky had asked her
"Not sure, I know it's quite a lot of students though, I'm rooting for Akira this year though!" She had said with a blushed up face
Becky wondered what was it with girls and Akira, she doesn't know him but she could tell from afar that he seemed very goofballish to even notice most things around him, she became curious of him, of who he is, what kind of person is he.
Little did she know that even he did not know of his own actual origins, what his family really was, he knew nothing of the world and it's secrets.
