My boss. Alexis McCarter. Editor in chief of DigIn webzine. He's always the cause of this headache that I have. He's a very keen writer and a very strict head. But aside from that, he's also good at throwing papers, throwing my works at my face. And that's pretty much always how my day went.
Matilda Berrington. My officemate/Bossbaby. Yep! She's boss's baby. Because she always cry like a baby to my boss. And believe me. You won't gonna like how backstabber she is.
Charity Melburgh. My only friend in this small company. She's the safest secret keeper I must say. And get this. We share the same sentiments about my evil boss and this bossbaby. I think I found my long lost sister from a different mother in her.
They are only a part of this small company. There are many more that I couldn't consider significant yet in my story.
So, how did I came up with this type of blog? I don't know. Well, this is probably the last resort that I could think of. Since all my works are being scrapped by my evil boss.
"You want me to date you?" He was still in state of awe.
I rolled my eyes and lift my lenses that is sliding down my sweaty nose. "Well technically I just want to experience, you know, how to have a boyfriend even just a day. And writing a love story is never effective if I haven't experience it first hand. So, what'd you say?"
He giggled. "So you never had a boyfriend, as in ever?"
That giggle. It's belittling me. "You know what? Forget it. Maybe I'll just find somebody else. Thank you for your time." The chair cracked on the floor the moment I stand up.
"Amanda." He called out. How'd he know...
I faced him. "How come you knew—"
He raise a pen. "I just read the name engraved on this pen." I snatch the pen right away. He stand up and fix his predicament putting his hands on his both pockets. "So Amanda, when's the start?"
