I hated the stares I got at stores. I hated the look and then look away, then look backs. I hated cancer. I wanted to just punch cancer in the face. —The hospital had became my home now. I had gotten used to the food, i had gotten to know my doctor, and most of all, the longer i fought the harder I fought. One thing I love about Dr.Saige is that she makes the medicine injections so much easier. She's the best doctor ever, We like to tell jokes and laugh while she's taking care of me. She makes the whole 'hospital' experience better. Every morning she comes and tickles me and cracks a new joke. Mom laughs with me.But dad? He's still asleep.
My favorite days at the hospital are Wednesday's. Dr.Saige brings me ice cream,orange cream with whipped cream on top. Yum. Saige always makes me laugh when she feeds me. I know. Laugh. She has to, I can't hold a spoon on my own! I can't even sit up on my own! Saige always educates me. Every Wednesday it's a different subject, today it was science. "How is an obsidian rock made?" It took me a second. I was only in 3rd grade my now. "When volcano lava cools rapidly with minimal crystal growth" I answered. "Very good!" Saige said. "Describe evaporation" it took me a few minutes.. "Evaporation is when a body of water evaporates into gas and into the sky, then forms into condensation, then goes down as precipitation!" I answered. "Wow! Okay Ms.Smartypants!" We laughed.
