I usually don't like telling my story, but I'm proud to tell this one. My name is Chloe, I'm 12 years old and have been fighting Leukemia since I was 8. Now you're probably wondering, how is she still alive? It's all because of God. I worship God everyday in my hospital bed and pray to last one day longer. My mom is a singer at my church, and my dad is the pastor. Everyday we read a scripture and he explains what it means to him. Sometimes I get a little kick out of him because he just gets so into teaching. My doctor's daughter is a pastor too at the church down the road from the hospital, so my parents always are talking about there favorite scriptures to her while she's giving me medicine.
I never believed in a million years I'd be this sick. I have a very healthy family, my 2 brothers play on the varsity football team, and my parents used to work at a local gym. One day I had non-stop Aches,Fever,Couldn't eat,and I was so weak. My mom was so worried she called 911 and made them rush me to the hospital. For some reason, (I didn't know this til we got to the hospital) her cousin had Leukemia and she spent half of her week staying with her in the hospital. — When we got to the hospital my Pediatric hematologist-oncologist came in, talked to me and calmed me down. Because, when your mom is scared, you should be scared. I told him my symptoms, then they did a few C.A.T scans on me. I had to spend the night in the hospital, and that was my first night.
