Chapter 5

*Aylassa's POV*

Well, me and Jake have been sitting her forever. We watched Halloween, and then we just sat and talked.

I hear a knock on the door, taking both of our attentions, and putting them on the door.

I hear 3 knocks, 1, and then 6.

Oh no, that means...

"What's their problem?" he asks me.

"Oh god." I say standing up.

"What?!" he asks starting to be frantic.

"That's my family. So hurry up and get clothes on." I say pushing him into my room.

I hear the knock again. Oh god, can't he go any faster.

"Hurray up!" I yell at him.

"I'm trying!" he yells back. Right as he walks out and behind me, I open the door to my family.

"Hi, what are you guys doing here?" I ask them. Jake leans on the door, hovering over me, sort of.

"Um, well, we wanted to visit." My mom says.

"Oh, uh, come in?" I say, I'm not sure what to do.

"Are you sure, it looks like you have company." My grandma says making it up the steps.

My eyes widen, "Grandma! Grandpa!" I say.

Everyone piles into my house, me exchanging 'hi's' and hugs as they come in. Oh god.

"Mom, Dad, Rose, Grandma, Grandpa, this is my best friend Jake." I say, it's so awkward.

"Oh, your that Jake." My grandpa says.

"That Jake?" he asks me, chuckling at my grandpa's response.

"Um, yes grandpa, this is that Jake. But, uh, this Jake has somewhere to go, so just give us a moment." I say as I struggle to push him outside.

When we are out I close the door.

"I'm that Jake?" he asks me again.

"Okay, I may have mentioned you one or two times to my family, so they know who you are."

"Oh, well. That definitely makes it way less awkward." He says sarcastically.

"This is not a time to joke. Now, I have a crazy family to deal with, and you should probably go call one of your many girls."

"Lissa," he says seriously. "Don't say that."

"Why?" I ask confused.

"Because, it's not like that."
