Chapter 2
*LISA POV*
Joey seemed busy on his phone the whole time we were there. I didn't mind that much though because me and Shane got to know each other more better. I guess my feelings was growing about shane.
We all payed and left. Once we got to the car, joey seemed to be annoyed about something... but I didn't want to say anything because I didn't want to have a fight in front of shane. Joey seemed quiet the whole car ride to our house... I wonder why?
We arrived at the house and parked the car. Joey had an angry face on. I have never seen Joey this angry before...
We opened the car doors and walked back in the house. We all sat on the coach; Joey in the corner (still angry), shane in between us sitting forward and me seating awkwardly.
All of a sudden shane got a phone call from his mom.
"Hello." "Okay" "alright mom" "okay I will be there soon" "love you bye"
Then he hang up.
Shane
"Sorry you guys but muffins is ill and mom has to take it to the vet and she needs someone to look after the dogs."
Joey sat quiet. I spoke
Me
"Oh. okay. No worries. See you soon shane."
Shane
"Okay bye!"
Shane left, just leaving it me and joey.
Me
"Okay now that shane has gone. Would you tell me what is wrong?"
Joey
"ALL YOU WERE DOING WAS TALKING TO SHANE. FLIRTING WITH HIM. LEAVING ME OUT!"
LEAVING HIM OUT? He was the one who was on his phone the WHOLE time!
Me
"I WASN'T LEAVING YOU OUT! YOU WERE ON THE PHONE THE WHOLE TIME!"
Joey
"OH! SO YOU WERE FLIRTING WITH HIM THEN!"
Me
"NO! I WASN'T! SORRY I WAS TRYING TO BE FRIENDS WITH ONE OF YOUR FRIENDS!"
Suddenly, Joey's face started to go all red. Like he had all his anger. All of a sudden I see his fists clenched up and quickly punches me with all his strength on my cheek and eye.
I fall to the ground and tears slowly gather up in my eyes. why did he do that?
Joey
"Lisa.. I'm.. I... I'm so sorry..."
He tried to help me up but I shook him off. I slowly got up, I didn't dare even look at him and walk over to the door. My hands were shaking and my face really hurt. I got my keys and purse, which were by the door, and leave. I didn't say a word to him.
Tears feel down my face as I ran to my car. I quickly opened my car door and slid in. I turned on my car and drove. I didn't know where I was going...
I just drove. And then I saw a parking lot and just stopped my car and sat there.
*SHANE POV*
I leave Lisa's and Joeys house feeling strange. Joey seemed quite angry for some reason. But all I could focus on it how beautiful lisa... what am I saying?!? snap out of it shane! you love cat! right?
