Chapter 3
*SHANE POV*
I opened the door seeing lisa. The second I opened the door, lisa gave me a hug.
Me
"Oh"
Lisa
"Sorry... I just need a hug"
Me
"It's fine."
She squeezed me tighter as I shut the door. I then hugged her tighter back. We walked into the living room and sat on the coach.
I saw something on her face as she seemed to quickly cover it with her hand. I moved her hand from her face. There on her eye and cheek was a big purple bruise.
Me
"Who did that to you lisa?"
Her face dropped. as tears started to fill her blue eyes.
*LISA POV*
I couldn't help but start to cry. I put both of my hands on my eyes and cried my eyes out. Shane grabbed me and held me close.
Shane
"Lisa, don't cry. Just tell me who did this to you."
My face was shaking. I felt light-headed.
Me
"J...o...e...y..."
Shane
"What? why?"
I couldn't tell shane. But maybe...
Me
"He... he thought I was flirting with you... and we were arguing and then he just..."
I stopped. the tears were out of control.
Shane
"Lisa... don't cry..."
He pulled me close to him. And held me tight. I felt safe and warm.
Me
"Do you mind if I stay with you and cat today? it's just I don't want to go back to joeys."
Shane
"Um...well... Cat... broke up with me."
*SHANE POV*
Me
"Um... well... cat... broke up with me."
Tears started to fill my eyes but I tried to hold them in.
Lisa
"Oh. Shane... I'm so sorry."
Me
"It's not your fault."
My tears were trying to release my eyes but I was trying to stay strong... for lisa.
She looked up at me.
Lisa
"Can. can I stay here with. with you?"
Me
"Of course you can."
She lifted herself up from my chest and looked at me. She wiped her tears away with her sleeve. I quickly got a tissue from the table and wiped her eyes. I deeply looked into her glistening big blue eyes and got lost in them.
Me
"I'm... Going to get you an ice pack."
I went into my kitchen and got an ice back from the freezer. I walked back into the room and placed it carefully on her eye.
Lisa
"Ow..."
Me
"Oh sorry lisa."
Lisa
"Don't worry."
She put her hand on my knee. We gazed into each others eyes for a minute. And then I leaned in and kissed her lips. She was a bit startled at first but started to kiss back.
It felt so right, like we were supposed to be together.
