"Life is very short.Insecurities are waste of time."- Daine Von Ferstenberg.

Sharlet flipped the pages of the magazines given by Anna. It was already 12A.M and Sharlet was losing hope of finding "Ideal girl".

Sharlet would always be successful in finding a fault in every models she saw in the magazines.

Few had a pretty face but not a perfect body and then few have a perfect sexy body but not that pretty face as Sharlet wished for. Sharlet build up a lamest excuse that she will reject the models with a problematic life. According to Sharlet, an ideal girl will be ideal in all ways not only in looks.

Good looks, perfect body, uncontroversial life- her three criteria.

She finally gave up and threw the magazines on the floor. She lied on the bed, drowned in her own thoughts. Her dream was fading way from her eyes. She felt frustrated and embarrassed. She started to imagine things like what if all of this is a prank? Even if I find a perfect girl it will be useless.

She reached for her diary and flipped the pages. It said the wish she was longing for the most. Also, with the good explanation of it. She knew she had to mention like whom she want to become. But who is the 'who'? She never came across 'the ideal girl'.

Does she even exists?

Her thoughts were interrupted by a soft knock on the door,"Honey, are you still awake?" It was Anna.

Sharlet opened the door. "I was just changing for bed." She replied slowly.

Her mom entered and saw a bunch of 'Glamour' magazines clustered on the floor.

"Oh! I will clean it up." Sharlet said shrugging a bit and picked them up.

"I will do it. You should go to bed else you will get darkcircles and you will look like a" Anna paused and closed her eyes and opened them bulging them out and completed,"Zombie!"

Sharlet giggled with Anna. Anna took the books and placed them on her study table.

She kissed her forehead and whispered, "Good night honey."

"Goodnight mom." Sharlet replied. Her mom closed the door slowly.

Sharlet was really thankful of having such a funny and sweet mom. She was cool and understanding. She was a perfect mom. Thanks to her, Sharlet's life is literally ideal.

Wait Ideal? Sharlet opened her eyes widely. She noticed something. Her life is perfect. Isn't it?

She has got an amazing and strong woman as her mom who has raised her alone without any help of a man. She had got such a kind best friend who never looked down upon her though she knew she was a beauty and everybody would be fond of making friends like her. We all have ups and downs in our life but that shouldn't become a reason of hating our life.

Sharlet understood that she was longing for a very lame thing because living with flaws makes us discover the true beauty of life.
