Nico wished that Percy would let go of his hand. But not once did his grip waiver as they reached the Posiden Cabin.He could feel his heart melt with every step. I should want this and more from Percy. Nico silently cursed himself ; he shouldnt be thinking like that. The sight of Cabin Three snapped Nico out of his thoughts. Percy opened the door with one hand, and  brought Nico inside. His eyes went down to thier intertwined fingers. A faint pink blush formed on Percy's cheeks. He aburbtly pulled his hand out of Nico's grasp. 

''Sorry, man. I didnt mean to pull so hard. I know you dont like to be touched. I just didnt think you would follow me here otherwise.''

''Percy'', Nico sighed. '' I just don't think I'm ready to learn how to swim. I don't know if I'll ever be ready.  Dad was never the type to enjoy that sort of thing.''

''Thats what I wanted to talk about. Percy said, guiding Nico to sit beside him on his bunk. ''How does your Dad feel about you staying here full time? I know your relationship has been rocky lately.''

Rocky was an understatement. Nico had taken over the job as his father's ambassator, soon after Percy lost his memory at the hands of Hera, the greek goddess of marriage. But now that  Thanatos, the greek good of peaceful death, was chanied in the underworld, and Gaea was no longer a threat, Nico felt no need to represent the Underworld for Hades. He wasn't ashamed, just apathetic.

''Dad believes in me. Most of the time.  I just don't believe in myself. I know that I have friends at camp now, but after loosing Will, it's sometimes hard to see that.'' Nico buried his head in his upturned knees.

''Nico. You never told me that you ended it with Will. I'm so sorry. If you want to talk about it, you know I'm here for you.'' Percy gently patted Nico on the back.

''Nico looked up at Percy with a slight smile. ''Funny. You and Jason are more alike than you think. He told me that exact same thing.''

''Well, we are bros after all.'' Percy laughed. ''But seriously, Nico. Are you ok?'' 

''I'm feeling better about it. Honestly, But lets not talk about that. Jackson, what did you have to show me?'' 

Percy got up and shifted over the his dresser. He pulled open the bottom shelf and took out a pair of swimming trunks, and handed them over to Nico. They were a sea green color, the same as Percy's eyes.

''Percy, I told you I wasn't ready. Bianca and I never knew how to swim. We loved the beaches in Italy, but our Mother never let us get near the water. Plus, aren't these your swimming trunks''.

''Nico I know you had a crush on me, but that was the past. So is Italy. But it behind you. You can do this. I know you can.'' Percy smiled.

So he thinks I'm over him. He'll never want to stay at Camp Half Blood if he knows. But I want to be with him, to stay, more than anything. So we could have infinte summers together.

''Nico, are you alright? You look troubled.'' Percy leaned in close, closing the difference between them.

''I want you to promise me something. If I learn how to swim this summer, you will consider staying at Camp Half Blood.''

''Nico, I can't stay. I promised Annabeth that I would go to New Rome for college together. I studied hard to get in. Why do you want me to stay?

''I- Um.'' Before Nico could get a word out, Annabeth appeared in the doorway. She must have been looking for Percy after he abandoned her by the lake. Nico stepped away from Percy. Why here, why now, of all times, did she have to be here?

Also, I think I might update this every two weeks... possibly. There will be five or so chapters.
