S.L.U.T (She Loves U Though) #CHONI STORY!!

The hospital

Cheryl's POV:

I'm freaking out right now I don't know what to feel. Toni was just rushed off to the hospital in an ambulance. Veronica, Betty, and I went along. We got to the hospital a few minutes after the ambulance. We ran inside and I ran to the front desk. "I need to see Toni Topaz immediately." I panicked. The woman just looked at me, "She was just brought into the ER. You can't see her right now." The woman said. "I need to see her! You don't understand!" I yelled. Veronica just gently took my arm. "We'll get in, don't worry. We just need to be patient." V said. I just sighed and went to sit on one of the waiting room chairs. I put my head in my hands and began to cry. I felt V and Betty sit next to me and put their hands on my shoulder. "It's gonna be okay. She's strong. She'll pull through." V said reassuringly. I just looked at her. "I swear to god if I lose the one good thing in my life--" I began. "You're not going to." Betty chimed in. "I'm going to kill Nick. I'm serious." I said. "Cheryl... Toni needs you. You can't be there for her from prison." Veronica said. I just let out a sigh. The three of us waited for what felt like days, but after an hour, one of the doctors came over to us. "I'm looking for Ms. Topaz's family." He said. "That's us." I said as I quickly stood up. "Okay, well I have some bad news.." He said sadly. "Please don't tell me..." I began as a tear fell from my eye. "Ms. Topaz died during the intensive care procedure..." He said. Veronica and Betty looked shocked and confused as they turned to me. I was completely in tears and I didn't even know how to speak or what to think or say.

Just then, a female doctor came running towards the doctor who was speaking to us. "Dr. Gruggnacoff! Something happened, we need you right away!" She called. "Wait, what's going on?" Veronica asked, knowing it's what I would've said if I could speak. Instead of answering he just looked at us and followed the other doctor. 

Toni's POV: 

I heard a bunch of doctors talking loudly as I was connected to a bunch of machines. I could barely open my eyes, I felt weak. I couldn't move. What just happened? "Antoinette?" one of the doctors said. I tried to open my eyes more but the light from the room blinded me and I closed my eyes. "She's stable." The doctor said relived as they fixed my machines and left the room. A few moments later I could hear people entering the room frantically. "Toni?" Cheryl's voice said, breaking. I could feel her gently touch my hand. "She's okay, Cheryl. She's okay." V said reassuringly to my heartbroken and terrified girlfriend. "She died, V. I'm just happy they were able to revive her. because she's the love of my life." Cheryl said through tears. I died? I questioned to myself. "D-do you still want to be with me? After all, this is all my fault." She whispered. I was finally able to re-open my eyes as I slowly turned my  head to look at her. "I-I-I would n-never leave you." I tried to get out. Cheryl slightly smiled at me and I attempted to squeeze her hand. She still had tears coming down her face, I hate seeing her so hurt. "You're gonna be ok. I promise." Cheryl said to me, wiping one of her tears.  "C-come here." I said. Cheryl got closer to me as I said, "Kiss me." She just leaned down and gently touched our lips. I was afraid I was never gonna feel her lips again, that scared me. She kept her lips on mine as I softly kissed back, I could feel more tears falling down her cheeks and I could taste the salt. When we finally let our lips part she just stared into my eyes. "I love you so much Toni Topaz." She said softly. Veronica and Betty just looked at each other and smiled. Just then, Jughead came running into the room. "Is she okay?" 

Betty looked at him then looked down. "Yeah, she'll be okay." Veronica answered. Just then the doctor came in. "Okay guys, let Mrs. Topaz rest. We don't want another complication." he said. "P-please let my g-girlfriend stay." I tried to say. I really didn't wanna be alone right now. "Okay, but just your girlfriend. Which one of you girls is that?" The doctor asked. "that's me." Cheryl said proudly. "Okay, as for the rest of you, you can go home till tomorrow." 

Veronica and Betty hugged Cheryl as they walked out passed Jug. He just sighed as he left as well. Finally, Cheryl and I were alone. I used all the strength I had in me to move over on the hospital bed, leaving just enough space for Cheryl. "Lay w-with me." I said softly. Cheryl just smiled as she climbed onto the hospital bed and gently put her arm around me, resting her head on my shoulder. Luckily it wasn't the shoulder that was stabbed. We laid there for hours in silence, just enjoying each others company and happy that we were both breathing. Eventually, Cheryl fell asleep cuddling me. I could tell she was exhausted. I just looked at her, my sleeping beauty, as I eventually closed my eyes as well. 

2 weeks later: 

Cheryl's POV:

Toni was finally able to come home today. She had a lot of good days and a lot of bad days at the hospital, the doctors were afraid we were gonna lose her again. That happened twice, during her seizures. She had to use a cane now, at least for a few weeks. But at least she was stable, she was able to move, and she could speak. And the best part was, she was breathing. Just then, I entered Toni's hospital room and smiled when I saw her standing by the window and staring out at the sun. "Hey, you ready to go, princess?" I asked as she turned to look at me. She had a big smile plastered on her face. "I'm ready." She replied as she picked her cane up and began to limp over to me. I took her hand and led her out to my car. I helped her into the passenger seat as I then made my way to the drivers seat. I drove very slowly for Toni's protection, the shortest of stops could hurt her stomach. Eventually we made it back to Toni's trailer. I had a big smile on my face as we approached the door. "What?" Toni said with a smile. I just shook my head with a smile as I led her inside and into the bedroom. "Woah.." Is all that came out of Toni's mouth when she got in the room. There was a big banner hanging over the bed that said 'Welcome home Toni!' and a bunch of rose pedals all over the bed. There were lit candles and a little picnic basket sitting on the floor. 

"You hungry?" I asked with a smile as I picked up the basket and placed it on the bed as I pulled out some food. "You have no idea... the hospital food was horrible." She said with a laugh as she made her way to the bed and sat down. I placed all her favorite foods in front of her as she began to eat. Once we finished eating, we talked a lot, and cuddled on the bed. I began to gently play with the bottom of Toni's shirt. I slowly lifted it up to reveal her big scar. I gently touched it, as I then softly kissed it. "It's not your fault." Toni said. I just sighed and looked into her eyes. "I'll love you forever, Toni Topaz." I said as I leaned in and kissed her lips. Once we broke the kiss she looked into my eyes and moved a piece of my hair behind my ear. "I'll love you forever too, Cheryl Blossom."
