You finish packing up your pathetic life and carry it to the front  door. You then shove all your junk into your minivan that you had paid off entirely by yourself. You hop in the front seat and take inventory of your current life. You have held down a weekend job all through middle school and highschool and now work full time at the local gas station not to mention all the little summer jobs and babysitting that you did and hated. So, you have about 10 thousand dollars or so saved up in the bank. It sounds like a lot but it wouldn't last long. You finally come to the conclusion that renting would be the best option for you. Since it will take a while to find a landlord that will rent to a 16 year old with a disapproving mother, you decide to check into a hotel for a night or two.

You slowly pull out of the driveway, and notice your mom staring at you through the bathroom window. Wait, legally she still owns me. You call a legal office and explain the situation.

After hours of explaining, arguing, and pleading, you are finally your own. You even had documents to prove it. You proudly walked back to your car after all the legal junk was finalized and starte it up. You look up at the sky and came to a crazy realization. "I am an adult!" You state.

You decide to go house shopping to celebrate. Let's just say, it didn't go great.

You drag into the local hotel at 12:45 AM that night discouraged, hungry, and tired. You pay the overpriced amount for a two night stay, and head up to your room.

You finally come across your hotel room. You shut your tired eyes and fish around in your pocket for your room key. Suddenly, you are startled by a loud bang followed by shattering glass coming from the room right beside you.

"Fuuuuuuuuck!" says an unmistakable, posh, British voice from behind the door.

"Not again!" says another deep, British voice that you couldn't miss.

     "Call room service," Dan sighs.
Your jaw drops. "No way," you gasp. Dan and Phil are right THERE. You think to yourself. Though it's difficult to leave the side of the door that's separating you from your role model (Dan) and your major crush (Phil), you know that after a day like this, not even an trip to Vidcon could keep you from getting into that soft clean bed. That night you dream of actually seeing Dan and Phil IRL the next day. You didn't know at the time, but the story of Dan, Phil, (Your name), and their friendship was just about to begin.
