Chapter 2: When He Does.

Fluttering my eyes open, i  admire the immediate sunlight beaming through my balcony, which inspired me to approach it. 

Sao Paulo was beautiful. Inside and out. This is the type of society i want to be around. Although i only spent one day here, i'm sure i can be quick to judge when i say it is truly mesmerizing here. 

I wish my dad was here with me. And Mason too. I'm sure he would introduce us to the most discrete places ever, and talk about them. My father is full of knowledge. Ans although it can be quite disinteresting sometimes, he can give the most mind-blowing facts. And i love it. 

Speaking of disinteresting, i had to call my mom and apologize. After all,  she is my mother. And i cant just treat her like that. With time apart from her yesterday, i realized my mistake. And i am ready to apologize. Even though my stubborn mind thinks i'm still the right one. 

"Heyyy mom" i ring her. 

"Well, look who called" she said. "Sweetie, look what you did was wrong, and if you don't want to come back, its okay. I'll pay you a visit" she said after and awkward silence between us." but I'm kind of hoping you would get back soon.. we really need you. your dad was really devastated when he knew. He's still not back from work."

"Mom... Im sorry for what happened i just got out of control and-"

"Don't be.i prevented you from doing something good and fit for you. Lila honey, I need to go now, ill call you later sweetie." and with that, her voice was gone.

I didn't expect it to be this easy. I thought she was going to send me back or something bizarre , thank God she didn't. I still feel alone, even though i am here with all my close friends. I'm still new to this country. I have never been here before, and i kind of feel intimidated. I mean, i did move here without a warning- not even to myself. i know it will take time to get used to this.

"Hey Lance" i said while hugging him tightly and getting the same in return. 

"I missed you" he said, followed by a giggle.

He opened the car door and we all got inside. 

His car was very luxurious. Obviously, something i'm not used to. but I should've known that. God, stupid Lila.

"Where are you taking me?" I asked curiously. 

"Don't worry kiddo, you'll like it." He said with a big smile across his face.

I giggled then turned on the radio just to ease the tension a little bit. 

A few minutes went by as Lance parked his car near the Stadium that we were in yesterday for the match. I was very confused at first, but i immediately assumed her wanted to play with me, since we haven't played football in years. 

" you know me so well." i smirk and leave the car.  And he did know me very well. I don't hate football. But i do enjoy it. 

Lance is an amazing player though. Because he is a footballer. i keep forgetting that. I still can't wrap my head around that. 

"Lets go" he said with a smile.

We got inside the stadium .  A few footballers were also playing from Lance's team. He and I went to greet some players as i spotted Marcelo, my cousin. I decided to go and scare him, just because i like to consider myself a rebel.

"BOO!" I scream as loud as i can. 

Marcelo jumps in utter fear and turns around, placing a hand on his heart. "God! You scared me Lila!" he yells.
