Chapter 17: honest feelings

"Can we atleast talk?privately?" i said.

He sighed as he left the market. i assumed he wanted to go to his car. i followed him behind and we got inside.

Silence filled the air as Neymar scrolled down his phone screen.

"L-look i just wanted to say how i truly feel about you" i admitted. he locked his phone as he looked into my eyes. he was sitting in the driver's seat and i was sitting at the passenger's.

"I left you for a reason Lila" he said."But that reason is irrelevant Neymar!" i yelled.I looked down at my hands as i realized i was too loud."I-im sorry" i said.There was a long hard pause in which we didn't do anything but stare at the couple in front of us hugging each other. looks like they haven't met in a while.

"Can i ask you a question?" i asked.He nodded his head in response."Did you love me? back when we were together"i asked."I adored you Lila" he stared into my eyes. "but if i love you, i cannot risk getting you hurt again" he stated."But you wont" i said. he didn't say anything.

"I said this to everyone, but i never said it to you; you changed me, inside and outside. ever since you stepped into my life, you made me feel special. i was living in this dark world and i couldn't see anything, but it was like you turned on the lights and led me. you might not know this, but i came here to continue my third year of college, but you distracted me, in a good way. please, i love you. i need you. please, please don't leave me" i explained."I understand you cause me alot of problems but that is just what makes us special Ney, and it hurts to see my body in pain, but you know what hurts even more? the fact that you left me when i needed you the most"

Neymar's point of view:-

I didn't know what to say. A part of me wants to hug and kiss her so tight, and a part of me wanted to just leave her broken hearted and sad.

"Why cant you just understand and accept the fact that i love you and that i cant live without yo-"

I cut her off by smashing my lips against hers before she had the chance to move or retaliate.She had an amazing taste and all i could think of was to just kiss her for hours and hours. i wouldn't let go.

Lila's point of view:-

He tasted like mints and smoke. a weird yet hot combination.

Wrapping my arms around his neck, he rested his hands on my waist. He pushed up against me harder, making me breathless.Pulling away while smirking, he winked at me.

"Does that mean you wont leave me?" i asked curiously.

"I will never leave you baby" he said.

i tucked myself in Neymar's sheets. i saw him entering the room shirtless.

"Hey" he smiled.

He came over to the bed and sat next to me. i rested my head on his lap as he kept staring at me.

"Did anyone ever tell you that your eyes are beautiful?" he asked.

I blushed as i slapped his cheek playfully. he chuckled. "you get really shy when i compliment you" he stated."Its because no one really compliments me a lot so this is all new to me." i said.
