Honey, I'm so proud of you. You're getting so tall and beautiful. I love the picture you sent me. I'll keep it close to my heart. Make sure those boys never touch you, remember boys have cooties? Never forget it. They are, and always will be gross creatures. Do you remember how to punch? Be sure you never forget that Lilly-Bear. It'll come in handy some day.
I know I was supposed to come back in a month but don't be worried, I just have to help some more people here. Be sure to tell mommy, okay? Tell her I still need her to be brave. That she can't be sleeping too much. She needs to remember she still has you even when I'm gone.
