Miraculous Ladybug: The Reveal

After the Akuma

Ladybug/Marinette:

I released the akuma. Chat took the victim home and promised to meet me at the top of the once-again-restored Eiffel Tower. "I'll see you soon, M'Lady," he said, with a kiss on my cheek.

I tried not to let it bother me. I tried to fight as I always did by his side. After we defeated Glaciator, I felt different. I hoped Chat didn't think I was acting differently. I hated myself inside for liking Chat and Adrien. I denied liking Chat because I felt like I would betray Adrien if I did. I sighed and launched myself to my room.

I detransformed and Tikki fell into my hands. "That was a hard akuma tonight," she said.

I nodded. "I know. Stay here, I'll get you a cookie. I need to meet Chat at the Eiffel Tower." Tikki flew off my hands and I went downstairs. My mom and dad were watching an old-fashioned, sappy French movie. I grabbed a cookie from the kitchen and went over to them. "I'm going to bed. Goodnight." I kissed their cheeks and they said, "Goodnight, Marinette."

Tikki quickly ate the cookie and I became Ladybug once more, propelling myself back across Paris.

Chat Noir/ Adrien

All I could think about was Ladybug telling me to meet me at the top of the Eiffel Tower. Maybe she would confess her love! No, she wouldn't do that.

I sighed and said, "Claws in," and Plagg flew from my ring to my couch.

"My poor aching body!" He whined. I rolled my eyes and put a piece of Camembert next to him. "I need to meet Ladybug at the Eiffel Tower, so eat up." Plagg shoved the piece of cheese down his throat and I groaned.

"Come on. Plagg, claws out!"

I retransformed into Chat Noir when Nathalie knocked on my door. "Adrien, your father says goodnight," she said through the door. I sighed. "Thanks, Nathalie."

Once I was sure her footsteps were gone, I launched myself out of my room to the Eiffel Tower. My heart was pounding at what lied ahead.
