Chapter 1: Slips and Trips

My dad kissed my forehead as he drops me to school on his way to work.

I could already see that working is not as easy as I thought it would be.

He always face his compuyer, typing and all that, not to mention a mountain of everlasting paperwork stacked in his office.

Okay. I'm exagerrating.

There are times when we were eating, laughing, having a quality family time when his phone would ring. He'll excuse himself and sulk in his office.

Me and mom of course would just continue chatting like teenagers all over again.

My mom's a nurse in Malmace Hospital so the family does not have much time for talks except on Sunday.

One of the stories, mom shared to me was about Addy, her best friend and her encounter with Dr. Aeron...

"Sarah..oh my gosh. He smiled at me!", Addy gushed her face flushing red.

My mom giggled as she pushed Addy to the side to sign off her shift.

"Sshh..he might hear you. He's at the vendo machine.", mom held Addy's arm and walked to the exit.

I could still remember the two of us laughing and talking about Addy and Dr. Aeron.

I admit he really is hot. I bet he has some abs.

Oh my golly. Did I just fantasize over my mom's coleague.

I didn't say a thing. Ssh...

"Hello? Earth calling to Bummy Gogie? You there?", a finger snapping in front of my face snapped me to reality.

I can't believe I thought about a 24 year old doctors body. I haven't seen his body even.

"See..she's in CC land again"

I raised my brow and looked at the brown head beside me.

I nudged her shoulder as she put her hands on her hips and as if on cue, caught her by surprise. She grabbed my arm for support and the last thing I know is my world is turning slowly...and SPLAT!!

There's something fluffy on my sides and the smell of lavender entered in my senses.

That scent is quite familiar.

"Eek!!"

A piercing scream blasted to my ears making me jump holding my bloody ears.

My poor ears.

I looked down to the floor and saw Lucy patting her clothes glaring at the blonde nerdy guy in the floor, who was staring at Lucy with his mouth opening like a fish.

Nom. Nom.

Lucy glared and raised her brows at the guy and cleared her throat and that snapped the guy from his world.

The boy blinked as if he was struck by lightning, as fast as he can stood up, hitting Lucy's chin taking her again by surprise and you could guess what happened next.

As if in slow motion Lucy tripped in her heel, slowly fell down with the boy in the floor. The boy was on top of her and his hands were, lets just say, not in a proper location...

It was cupping both of her boobs.

This just made everyone laugh harder.

Lucy just layed there in shock and as realization hit her..

She pushed the guy to the side and quickly ran to no one knows where, clutching her bag tight.

I turned to the boy, seeing him standing in his blue polo and slacks. Adjusting his black rimmed glasses, staring at Lucy's retreating figure with a strucked expression.
