Daniel quickly came out her apartment with the lamp knowing Meeka was pulling up. His whole intent was for her to see him with the lamp, oppose to just coming out the apartment complex down stairs empty handed. "Damn baby why you didnt answer the phone? I told you I was gone get it earlier."
Daniel played it off smooth laying it on the back seat of his Tahoe.
"My phone died when I got off love, I forgot. Damn can I at least get a how was your day?"

Daniel hugged her tighter knowing her dad funeral was just last week.

"She was in the bathroom singing when I left."
