Betty and Archie's new beginnings

We all have secrets

The first day of schools lunch was the worst it had ever been.
It was were I learned that Veronica was the mystery girl jughead has been seeing all summer. As Veronica and jughead tell Archie and I this Archie says the words I'll never forget "I'm in love with Betty" my eyes widen Veronica's mouth drops jugheads fist clench. I can see how mad Jughead is getting but it's not stopping me from saying how much I also love Archie. Veronica starts crying and saying how deeply sorry she is and I knew the next words I said would ruin our friendship but I said them anyways "you may be sorry but I'm not sorry that I love archie".
Archie took me by my hand and we ditched school,he told me in his car that he's loved me for a very long time and he doesn't think he can stop.
As I snuggled against Archie that night I couldn't help but think about how I hurt Veronica she was my best friend and I think I just lost her. As my eyes were about to shut I see a glimpse of Archie cute sleeping body and the bright light of my phone.
I pick up my phone to see 10 text messages from Veronica.
She's with jughead now and she's never been happier.
I never thought she would end up with jughead. I've liked Archie since the 3rd grade but Veronica she tends to change guys as much as I change clothes. She always had a big crush on reggie mantle even when she was with Archie. She even told me a couple times that she would brake up with Archie to be with Reggie. But she never mentioned jughead,she always gave me crap for dating him so I wonder why she went after him.

She's been my best friend since kindergarten and we did everything together until she found out boys existed. She's a total rich bitch but I adapted to her being mean and always brushed it off as her just joking. I don't trust her with any of my secrets but she trust me with all of hers. She's liked Reggie mantle for years now but he was the only guy she was scared to make a move on. Reggie's nice he's high school  royalty. Reggie thought me how to drive when Archie was in Chicago with his mom so I like Reggie he kinda heated which is why I think it's weird Veronica would even look his way but I  don't blame Veronica for liking him. Veronica lives a interesting life of staying out late,partying at clubs,drinking by the age of 16,and on the one occasion we're I saw her do drugs. But around Reggie she's different,the good type of different the different affect Archie nor jughead had on her. Despite all the bad things she does I still love her and can't imagine life without her.
I wake up to the smell of burnt food and an empty bed and the Pitter patter of Vegas paws on the floor. I walk downstairs to find Archie cooking and I use cooking loosely. On the counter next to the stove are 2 plates filled with what use to be bacon by now resembles a rock. As Archie explains to me that he was trying to cook breakfast I get worried that mr.Andrews will find me in the middle of his in my underwear making out with his son and Archie can see how worried I am so he mentions that his dad is on business for the next month. As Archie drives to school singing to the music in the radio I dread on what's to come later today, Cheryl BLOSSOM back in town. As I walk into the blue and gold room I see jughead talking to a raven haired girl. Smiling the was he would smile when I was talking to him and Veronica walked by. I thought it was Veronica to only get a closer look and see Midge. As I walk in the room pretending to not pay attention I hear her say "see you later and remember to text me" who knew they were friends. As I sit down jughead walks over and sits alarmingly close to me. As I start to say what are you doing he puts his hand on my thigh. I push his hand off and he leans in for a kiss.

Loner mostly but when it comes to girls he's a total lady's man. Best friends with Archie and I guess that made us friends. I liked him for a while because I finally understood that Archie would never like me so he was default. Jugheads parents are going through a divorce so they could care less about what he does he drinks,smokes,does other drugs, and party's HARD. But he has a nice side a secret nice side.
I push him always and to ask what are you doing. Sometimes I think Jughead doesn't have a brain because what he said next was the stupidest thing ever he said "oh I guess I read the signals wrong o thought you wanted to kiss" I yelled at him saying all I did was sit down I was more than happy that I got a text saying swim practice will be starting and hour early today.
