Betty and Archie's new beginnings

Peter or archie

As I walk to pops with peter Archie never crossed my mind for a second I totally forgot about Archie. After pop Tate takes our order peter ask me if there is anything else he should be expecting from my friends. I know my friends are crazy and wild but no nothing more than Veronica sharing to much information. As we eat our food and peter had that cute smile on his face moment is ruined by Archie calling me I ignore it and continue to talk to peter.
Archie pov
I invited Reggie and Moose over to hang out. Reggie started to talk about the new kid peter. I hate him hes all up on Betty and Betty's my girlfriend. Betty specifically tells everyone not to call her cooper because she hates it and she lets peter call her cooper. She smiles at him the way she's never smiled at me. Reggie had the brilliant idea for me to throw Betty a surprise party because her birthday is in 2 day and that's a good way to win her back. As I call Betty to see what she's doing on her birthday she ignores my call but on Snapchat I see her hanging out with peter. I've honestly never felt more like crap before.
Peters pov:
i sit across from Betty at pops and we order she smiles as she gives pop the menus she has the cutest smile ever. I think I like Betty she's sweet and funny and so pretty. But she's dating Archie but why does that have to stop me from trying. I'm not the only guy interested like earlier moose and his friends cat called Betty in the hall and in 4th period some guys were playing smash or pass and they all smashed Betty but I really don't blame them. I guess I have to get used to be friends with Betty and her friends but if it makes Betty happy then it will happen.
Back to Betty pov:
As peter and I walk home he asks me about my family,I don't like talking about my family a lot because my dads m.i.a and my moms gone for work half of the time missed every single one of my birthdays since I was 13 and I have no siblings. Peter says he sorry to hear that but at least my birthday is soon. I tell him I don't really care about my birthday because I don't really have anyone to celebrate with like tonight I hate going home alone but I have to I usually go and spend the night with Archie but we aren't on the best of terms. Peter offered for me to come over because his aunt may is back in queen finishing up something things for work before she comes back to riverdale. I was going to say no but I'd rather hang with peter that be home alone. When I walk into his house it's huge and cute. I felt something run up and lick my foot, he had a dog as I embarrassingly squeal at how cute his dog is I instantly say oh I'm so sorry. He says it's fine and it's cute how I get happy over his dog. Peter just called me cute is say in my head. He continued to tell me that his dogs name is Tessa and he's had his dog for forever. As I walk past his tv I see that he has Mario cart and I kind of feel geek out because Mario cart is my favorite game ever. He ask if I want to play and he gets some candy and we play Mario cart all night long.
