K: Hey P'! Where are you?
K: We're meeting for lunch right?
That's weird. P'Sing is not replying to my messages. I wonder where he is. I thought we were meeting for lunch.
K: P' I'm at the noodle place now. Are you near?
K: I'm at our table by the window.
K: Should I order for you?
"Excuse me, Can I order now? One tom yum Noodle set and one Meatball Noodle soup. Oh and can I add nom yen and iced coffee please. Thanks!"
K: P' I ordered for you. Same order P'.
After a few minutes the server came with Krist's order.
At the other end of the restaurant, a man was silently watching Krist.
*ping*
K: P' food's here. Walk faster.
K: P' I'll eat now. HUNGRY!
Singto looked at his phone. His fingeres tempted to send a reply to Krist's messages. His feet tempted to stand up and move towards Krist's table. His heart tempted to talk to His Krist, to say all that's inside. His mind, standing firm.
No. Krist will be ashamed. He may not understand. I'm scared. He might push me away. This is better. I just have to endure. I don't think I can bear it if he knew how I feel and he turns me away. I can't bear it if he's disgusted by what I feel for him. We're both men. I don't think he'll accept me. I don't think he'll understand. Yes, it's better this way. I get to see him for the last time.
"Excuse me! Can I get my bill please? Oh and the bill for that table as well." Singto paid the bill for Krist's order and his as well. He was careful to leave while Krist was busy with his phone.
*ping*
K: P' food's cold. Hurry. I'll ask them to reheat.
Singto looked as his phone, then to the restaurant and the man he just left. "Goodbye Krist."
