Chapter 30: The Sun Rises

Failboat's Pov:
"Come on, Fail. The clock is ticking." Liz said teasingly, she pointed to her phone. '6:40 A.M' The phone read and I started to lose my patience with Nanako. "Screw it!" I exclaimed and grabbed both of Nanako's shoulders. I shaked her a bit to see if she could wake up and she did. Her eye lids opened only to be greeted by me, TNT, and Liz. Her eyes widen as she realized she was trapped and tied down, she fidgeted for escape but, the rope was too strong for her. "Failboat, what's going on?" Nanako asked, slightly worried for the change of actions that happened.

"I am done being your little apprentice. You know, what you did and I'll make sure it never happens again." I replied as I held a gun at her head, I looked at ExplodingTNT who was cradling his baby brother. He smiled at me as he covered Payne's ears so he wouldn't cry from the loud noise. "HE DESERVED IT! HE TORTURED EVERYONE HERE IN TOWN JUST FOR HIS OWN PLEASURE. STEALING PAYNE WAS THE ONLY WAY TO GET REVENGE!" Nanako yelled out as she tried her best to move around and escape. I looked at Liz who nodded as she went over to Nanako and pinned her arms down.

"Any last words?" I asked, putting my finger on the trigger. "Why did you create Purge Night, Sam?" She asked as she turned to TNT, tears streaming down. "I didn't create it for my own pleasure. Me and the Government agreed to make it happen as a little experiment for all criminals. To see what happened to them and maybe care for their needs." TNT explained as he walked towards me. "But YOU'RE A MONSTER! YOU WANTED IT TO HAPPEN!" Nanako replied, a glare of hatred staring right at Sam. "I created for a experiment by the Government and to save my little brother. So really.." Sam replied, cradling Payne with one arm while his other hand was the trigger as well.

"You're the monster and I'm the hero." TNT added and we both pulled the trigger. A loud noise happened as Nanako's head faced down and blood dripped on her lap. A snapped my fingers to see if she was still alive but, nothing happened. We offically shot her to death and I looked at Liz who was rubbing the blood off her. I then looked at Sam who laid a kiss on my cheek as a reward. "You did great, Daniel." He added as he gave me a side hug.

A clock dinged around town meaning Purge Night was over, we all headed to see the Sun. People went into the woods as they knew that their night was over. "What about Takeo and Septic?" Liz asked, knowing that they're still alive. "Don't worry, I will just tell the jury about our experiment." TNT replied as we went outside to be greeted by fresh air. I looked around to see the damage that had been done.

Some houses were broken into, cars were on fire, and blood splattered everywhere. "What about this mess?" I asked as Sam handed over Payne to me. "The Government has that covered." He replied and smiled seeing me craddle his baby brother. "So, this is the end of Purge Night?" Liz asked, putting her elbow on my shoulder. "It sure is." TNT replied as we stared at the sunrise. I think I know what the sun means to me now.

The Sun is rising over town to forgive the horrible crimes people committed. While also, rising to celebrate the end of Purge Night. I smiled knowing that I survived and found my new lover on this dangerous, unforgetable yet, last night.
