Meet Jean <3
Chapter 6 :
Travis's POV
I make my down to the kitchen. I found it extremely amusing when Mrs. Summer's asked Jean to show me around. I may have been gone for 6 years but the 11 years that i spent hereare not erased from my memory.
I see Robert, the housekeeper in the kitchen and that's how i kicked my plan into action.
Jean's POV
After holing up in my room for nearly an hour, i decided to go down for dinner.
Okay well, i didn't decide to go down, i was forced to go down. The aroma of food had somehow travelled into my room and forced to get out of bed. As i made my way down and entered the kitchen, "Robert, what's for dinn-" I stopped in my tracks to see Travis cooking, or rather setting up the table.
"What are you doing?" I asked, puzzled.
"Oh great, you're here. I was just coming up to see whether you're dead or something" He chuckled.
"Oh gee, thanks for the concern" i said in a flat voice.
"Dinner is ready. I think it's just you and me. Your mom took the kids out for some birthday party"
No wonder the house was so quiet!
"Well, i'm not really hungry.." My voice trailed off but my stomach growled. Loudly.
"Or not" he said, stifling a laugh. "Just sit and eat. It's your favourite" He looked at me hopefully.
He remembers. I couldnt hold back my smile. I, for one, have had the same favourite cuisnes for really, really long. Lots and lots of fast food.It may sound stupid but whatever.
It was a fricking party of fast food out here. He is quite smart, in order to make more variety he decreased the size of the meal. He made a mini-burgers, chips, small sandwiches with my favourite stuffing. There was ice cream AND cupcakes.
I worship him at this point. I walked towards him and gave him a big hug "Thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou". He gave me one of those heart-melting smiles.
I noticed a chick-flick kept on the breakfast bar. I swear i felt like we were kids again. Like nothing had changed.
I mean, had it?
