Travis's POV
Out of the 8 friends that had gathered up in Jean's living room, i knew no one. Except Dandy, who stopped flirting with me once Jean told her i was off limits. Well not exactly, but she threw a couple of stares our way, and Dandy got the message. It was really cute when she got all protective about me.
I was just getting some pasta out, when Dandy entered the kitchen.
"So, whats the deal between you and Jean? Are you two..like a thing?" She asked.
"No no, we're friends. We used to be best friends before i moved out" I said as i worked around setting out some dip ad chips, some paper cups.
"Well, you're cute and all that. But you're not my type. So, im sorry if i gave you some signal or whatever.." she said, slightly embarrassed.
"Nah its okay." I chuckled. I saw a different side to Dandy. The real her, not the one she was trying to show the boys to impress them.
"So friends?" she asked, smiling. "Friends" i agreed. I saw Sam from the party sitting on the couch outside. As we were setting up more food, (Jean's guy friends were HUGE) she explained that Sam had a bit of a drinking problem but when he was sober, he was really great. She filled me in on how he promised her he's going to quit for her. She had a big smile on her face.
I didn't catch the rest of the story, i was too busy looking for Jean. I havent seen her since, her friends came over.
I went outside and saw her talking to some guy. They were bit too close for my liking. They were talking about something, he leaned in closer. "Jean?" i said loudly. They both jumped back.
She looked relieved to see me and walked in my direction. It was pretty dark outside but i could see her eyes say 'thanks' to me. I nodded and she walked in.
I turned to see the boy staring at me. I turned around and walked in.
Ain't nobody got time for that, i thought.
Jean's POV
I sat between Jeremy and Joel, the Australian twins. They were built big, with broad shoulders, extremely tall but despite their body-guard looks they were totally adorable. I say it with pride that they thought of me as their younger sister and always looked out for me. I sat between them as Jeremy placed his arm causally around my shoulder. Did i mention his body is extremely comfortable? it's like a bed with extra fluffyness.
Joel was busy eating all the food. I couldn help giggling as he made funny faces at me with dip on his face.
Travis entered the room, awkwardly. I got up and moved him to the center of the room and introduced everyone to him.
'So guys, meet Travis. My oldest best friend. he's part of us now" i beamed. He blushed just a little.
Everybody said hi to him. "Yo, bud. I'm Jeremy and this is Joel, my ugly other half" He said, joking. Joel wrestled him playfully. I cleared my throat, asking them to cut it out. "Yeah, hi. Look, the food is really yum. And i already like you, but we're Jean's knights in shining armour." Joel winked at me. I blew them both a kiss.
Next in line was Becca. "Hey Travis, I'm Rebecca. And i'm a lesbian so stop checking me out" she said in a bored tone. I couldn't stop laughing as i saw Travi's mouth turn into an 'O'.
"Hey Trav, I'm veronica and i'm not a lesbian. Just saying." She winked at him
"Good to know, Veronica." he said, smirking. The boys began to wolf-whistle.
Next Leo, Gabby and Henry introduced themselves.
Sam and Travis just nodded at each other
Finally it came to Jason.
"Hi Travis. I'm Jason. Jean's boyfriend".
Oh no.
I gulped.
