"I had fun last night." I hear you from down the street. I look at you as you sit down, and smile.
"So can I ask you something?" you said with curiosity in your voice.
I shrugged.
"I'll take that as a yes."
I nodded.
"What's your name?"
I avoided the question. Not because I didn't want you to know my name, I just, well I don't know.
"What have you been up to?"
"Um...nothing much. I guess. Forget your notebook again?"
"Yea."
We sat there for awhile in silence again.
"What if I told you my name?" you said.
I shrugged.
You laughed. "My name is Riley."
"Riley."
"Yea?"
"That's a pretty name."
"Thank you."
I smiled.
"I want to show you something." I said out of the blue.
"Alright. Show me to this magical something." you said holding your hand out for me to take it.
I grabbed your hand and we walked. I took you to a stream.
"A stream?" you asked me confused.
I had let go of your hand by this point, but put my hand out again for her to grab it.
"Follow me."
I could tell she had never been this way before. As we continued to walk with our hands intertwined, we came to the end of the stream which leaded to a small waterfall.
You smiled bigger than I had ever seen you smile. It was the most beautiful thing.
You looked at me smiling. You took your shoes off. "Come on."
I looked at her confused.
"Come on!" you said excited.
'You want me to take my clothes off?' I thought to myself silently. She took her socks off, then her jeans, then her shirt.
"Are you coming or not?"
I didn't answer right away. I thought for a few seconds.
"Yea. I guess you're going to make me."
"I guess you would be right." you said with a smirk on your face.
I slowly removed my dirty sneakers and my socks.
I looked at her, she was waiting for me.
I took off my shirt, and then my jeans. As I slid my jeans off, I noticed that you had ankle bracelet. Cute.
We walked around the side of the waterfall. "Wanna jump in?"
I shrugged.
"Alright." you smiled.
You gave me your hand.
'3 2 1'
"Jump!"
We jumped in, the water was freezing, but it was worth it.
After we swam around for a little bit, we got out and watched the sunset. This was another day that I would always remember, and now I knew your name.
