Chapter 5: Why Eren?

Eren POV:

Mikasa laid her head on my chest. Her hair was really soft and then I felt her scarf. she shifted it up on her face. It was soft like her hair but, in a way, was warmer and a lot more welcoming. She looked up to me.

"Eren, do you remember when you saved me?"
"Yeah. It felt good to rid the earth of crappy people. I'm glas they didn't get you." She laughed at my words. i never heard her laugh before and it was little angels singing.

Mikasa's POV:

" I like your laugh" I put on a fake smile and went to sleep.

-the next day-

Eren's POV:

I woke up to Mika snoring. it wasn't loud, it was quiet but really cute!
"Come on sleepy head, wake up!"
"I'm up, I swear!" She yelled. Haha, she was so cute. I wonder if-... No she was like my sister and still is. I got up and got dressed. I had on a gray Rule3 V-neck and jeans.

Mikasa's POV:

Eren woke me up and then left to get dressed, I think. So I did the same. i walked back to my room and texted Connie.
M- connie! get over heya. I need ur help to decide wat 2 wear.

C- k! be over in a min.

After a few minutes she showed up with a makeup and hair bag.
"Uh why do you have those?"
"You said you needed help getting ready! duh! So did you finally land a date with the most popular guy ever, the one,the only, Eren Yaeger??"
"No, I'm just hanging out with him today. At least I hope so. I'm gonna ask him today if we can."
"Cool, okay we cant do much with your short hair but we can do a little with your face." All she did was apply mascara and a little bit of blush and lip balm. Ha, I looked good. Like really good.

Eren's POV:

I wanted to hang out with Mikasa today but she would probally reject me. Yeah I might have been the most popular guy in school but what good would that do me. She was a pretty girl who didn't give a crap about being popular or not. That's the great thing about Mika. She only cares about the people she loves and would do anything for them no matter the cost. I got up and walked across the hall. Mika opened the door and stood there. She had a pink v-neck on and white shorts. she looked good. and when I say good i mean it. He hair was short but it had highlights now and they were awesome.
"Hey, Mika?"
"Yeah?"
" You wanna hang out today, like just you and I ?" She leant in and hugged me
