I knew he was drunk but I also knew I wouldn't make it... I couldn't stand to see him cry. He was leaning on my hand when the doctor told him everything. The fact that he would never see the baby. The fact that my chances were slim. He came in everyday. Everyday he cried and after 2 years of this, he couldn't pay my bills. They were going to unplug me.... My heart plummeted. That's when the miracle I had been wishing for came true. So many lucky stars and 11:11's. I wouldn't see Eren wear black. We could watch the sunset again. We had a chance and finally my white light came. My eyes shot open and Eren turned around as they pulled my cord and I woke up. He kissed me so many times I lost count and he looked at my eyes like never before.
"Never again, Princess"he whispered out. And for the first time in two years, after all the books he read, all the songs he sang, and all the praying, I spoke.
