Destiny's Calling

Chapter 3

Scar finally got up from her nap when the car stopped at a big fancy looking gate. The gate opened and Scar almost fell out of her seat. She had never seen a castle before in the many times she had escaped the lab. She watched in awe as Logan drove them closer and closer it the humongous castle that was looking more and more scary the closer they got.

When she saw the impaled bodies on sticks Scar fell covered her mouth and tried not too throw up. People that were impaled made her uncomfortable probably because she had been impaled with lots of different things at the lab.

Logan looked back to see her reaction she had gone pale and was looking close to being sick. "My Mom shared your disgust and fear about the impaled people on our lawn as well."

Scar looked at him weirdly. "Queen Freya fearing something; I don't believe you. From the stories I was told she fears nothing."

"So you heard the stories about her trying to kill my dad." She nodded her head.

"Betta they didn't tell you about the time my dad killed my mom."

"W-w-what."

Logan laughed "yea we don't tell people because we fear they will think Dad is unhinged people only think it is a rumor that he killed her. Choked her too death actually she lived though thanks too a witch. ,but it's all true."

Fear seeped down Scars spine "he's not still- oh gosh he is not still doing things like that is he."

"You mean abusing my mom; Of course not my dad loves my mom more than anything. He just was very unbalanced because he had just turned into a hybrid again. Plus do you really think I would let anything like that happen under my roof. I'd kill him before he hurt my mom." Scar could see the affection he had for his mom in his eyes.

Logan got out of the now stopped car and came around with his vampire speed and opened the door for her. She glared at him "I could've done it."

Logan took her arm as he led her up the steps to the castle. The doors were opened for them by two burly guards and they walked into the ancient looking castle. As soon as the door shut behind them a red haired woman slid down the stair rail. Scar couldn't hold back her concern if the woman fell she could die. Two scared looking men ran behind her and begged her too stop. Logan just smirked. The small strangely beautiful lady ran up too Lucas and jumped in his arms.

"Son I've missed you so much." Son! Scar was taken aback the small woman only looked to be in her late teens. Scars mind finally started to work and she bowed "your highness it is an honor to meet you."

"Omg, omg Logan you brought a girl home with you." Tears filled queen Freya's eyes. She turned too her son "is this your mate." Logan nodded and the queen flung herself at Scar and put her arms around her neck "welcome to the family," she pulled back and said "what's your name."

Scar found her voice "It's Scarlet but most people call me Scar."

The queen clapped her hands together with excitement and hugged her again. "I'm not most people I'm cool so I'm going to call you Lil red because even though Scar is pretty cool lol red is just plain badass." Scar had to hold back her smile; this woman was fun.

At that moment a man that was bigger than Logan  (which she didn't even think was possible) came in the room growling. The man had to be over seven feet tall. He was extremely burly and seemed to be very angry. Scar hid behind Lucas. Most men scared her, her mate was the exception though. This male had to be the most scariest creature she had ever seen. And she had seen a lot of them back at the lab.

He walked in long strides over to the queen and Scar was scared for the small women. Then all the sudden he picked her up and cuddled her against his chest. "Sebastian tells me you went down the railing again."

The women turned to one of the two men that had been following her earlier. "You know what happens to people who snitch." She paused and gave Sebastian a threatening look "they get castrated in their sleep!"

Sebastian gulped seemingly scared of the small woman.

"This is serious Freya I can't lose you ;you must not risk your life like that."

"I've literally done it a thousand times I got this. It's just the first time I've been caught since last time."

Lucas didn't have to be reminded about the last time he had seen her go on the stair rail. She had fell and would've died if Lucas would've have saved her. He tightened his grip on his beloved mate just thinking abut it."

"No more." He growled out and Freya just nodded.

Logan stepped up at that point "Dad I would like you to meet my mate Scar." Lucas turned to see his son with a vampire peeking out from behind him. He set Freya down and embraced his son.

"This is wonderful news Logan," he said patting his son on the back.

He looked at me from where I stood behind Logan.

"Your highness," I managed to do a shaky bow. This man was King Lucas the man who had ruled the vampires for over five hundred years and since recently the werewolf's also.

The king just laughed and winked at me. "Your family now you can call me Lucas."

I smiled at him ;this man actually seemed nice.

Just then another red headed girl who looked pretty similar to Freya slid down the railing.

King Lucas just tensed and growled as she slid all the way down. "Susanna you and your mom both need to stop that. I swear if I see any of you do that again I'm gonna lock you in the dungeon."

Wow, Queen Freya was her Mom. They looked like sisters. Susanna just shook off her dads threat. Freya smiled "you already killed me and tried to kill me like three times your threats don't work anymore King." All the sudden Freya pulled a sword almost bigger than her seemingly out of no where. Where was she hiding it. The small woman swung it around with grace Scar had never seen before.

The king rolled his eyes "How many times do I have to tell you I'm sorry."

"Until the day I finally get tired of you and blow you up with my new bombs in your sleep."

The king paled "baby you don't actually have bombs do you."

Freya winked at him "maybe, maybe not let's hope you don't find out anytime soon."

Lucas cleared his throat "well I'm gonna take Scar upstairs. She has had a really long day."

Susanna frowned at him "wait is this your mate." Logan nodded.

Scar watched as Susanna hit him repeatedly "why didn't you tell me earlier dumbass."

Scar tried not to laugh as she saw the siblings arguing. She wished she had siblings that she could do that with. Once Susanna calmed down she gave Scar a hug and skipped up the stairs and when she tripped Lucas growled.

He glared at the stairs "I think I'm gonna have to get an elevator."

Authors note: Ok I'm the worst person ever. I just started high school and I'm in a million clubs and I have sports and homework and stuff so I've had no free time. I promise I will update more often though.
