“Where are we, Shyam ji? I have never been to this place before...” Khushi asked, scared of the lonely surroundings.

“There is a new restaurant here known as the Blue Chandelier.”

“But we were going to Riverside Presidency?” Khushi scrunched her eyebrows.

“I wanted us to try something new!” Shyam smiled.

As they entered the restaurant, Khushi noticed that  everything was engulfed in dark there.  She spotted a candle lit table. This sight instantly led her drift to the memories of the previous night that  she spent with Arnav, as magical as his name itself.

Khushi noticed that there was no waiter and frowned.

“Uh Kusi? I hope you won't mind some of my friends joining us!” Shyam asked her.

“Why not, Shyam ji! I would not mind meeting your friends.” Khushi smiled and drank a glass of water kept on the table.

The lights changed to red colour and many girls and boys appeared in the room. Loud music boomed into the room.

“Come on friends, let's enjoy!”Shyam screamed.

Khushi closed her ears at the loud music and gasped looking at the skimpily dressed women.

Shyam enjoyed the song and the dance of the people. He grabbed a girl’s waist and signaled Khushi. "Hey kusi! Come on join the fun.”

A man approached Khushi and started singing the lyrics while trying to come close to her. Scared by his approach, he moved farther away from him towards the centre of the crowd.

Taking advantage of her condition, Shyam perauaded her to come to another room. She agreed instantly because she wanted to go away from this room.

She felt uncomfortable with the way Shyam was touching her but couldn’t say anything as her condition was degrading by the second. She needed her medicines!

Shyam  made her drink a glass of water then left her in the room to  go and have a talk with his friends to thank them for coming to the party. Feeling the need for her medicines, she made her way out of the door as soon as he left.

Her vision was blurring by the second yet she went downstairs only to clash with someone near the gate .

“Hi Arnav!” she said as she fainted in Arnav’s arms.

“What the?" said Arnav.  Why did Khushi faint? What happened to her? He carried her in his arms to his car.

Meanwhile Shyam was searching for Khushi . “Sit!(shit ) I lost such a nice opportunity to get close to Kusi but god knows where she went! Hmph!“he said disappointed with her disappearance.

“You are so bad!” Khushi mumbled loudly in her subconscious state.

Arnav looked at her surprised
Looks like this Shyam got her drunk!
“Can you please sit quietly Khushi? I need to concentrate on the road.”

“No!” she mumbled innocently. “ Because then  I might lose my voice!”

“What the!”

“What the! What the! What the! What the!” she giggled.

“If you don’t keep quiet then I will push you off the car khushi.” Irritated by her antics, Arnav threatened Khushi.

“Push me off...She also said that…”Khushi sounded frightened. She immediately clutched Arnav’s hand which was on the gear.

Arnav now diverted his attention completely towards her. Who wanted to push Khushi and from where?Why?

“ Who, Khushi? Who?” he slightly shook her .

“Huh...Dev Dev!” she started crying.

“What!” He said surprised that she was taking his name although she said it was a 'she' who pushed her.

“Come back, come back!  Why you left me ...”she cried even more.

“Answer my question, damn it! Who wanted to push you? “

“Maa said that dev wanted to push me off the cliff...”Khushi cried.

Arnav halted the car with a screech .Did Indrani think of him as a cold blooded selfish murderer like she was?  There couldn’t be a better time than now to know what happened in Allahabad after he left.

“who was dev ?what happened? He wanted to kill you?”

“he was the moon “she said lovingly.

“the moon?”arnav asked confused.

“yes and I, his chakor ,the bird who shall always fly towards him, the moon.”

Arnav looked on affectionately towards her.it was so contradicting that she only was the one to initiate his doom.

“he promised to marry me …but after what his crook parents did he went away to I don’t know where.”

Arnav clenched his fist when she said so.

“maa said he wants to kill me he is a bad boy so I should never ask where!”
