So this is like a part two to the sleepover.
Trigger warning: mentions of self-harm, scars, sadness and angst.

3rd person's POV
After the sleepover a couple of months ago, Virgil slowly stopped wearing his hoodie everyday. He got more comfortable with the others. Roman was ecstatic to learn new things about Virgil. Logan was able to have more in-depth conversations with Virgil without him worrying about saying the wrong thing. Patton got more hugs. They even heard him mumble an "I love you" a couple of times. They were all happy and content. Thomas felt better and less anxious. Until Virgil was helping Patton in the kitchen one day. Deceit watched from the doorway. They need to know how Virgil felt before all this, they needed to know about the scars. Deceit became a frog and hopped on top of a cabinet. From above he observed Virgil. How was he going to get him to roll up his sleeves. On his way over to where Patton was he bumped into a wine bottle. That's it. Deceit became a snake and nudged the bottle with his head. Finally the bottle fell onto Virgil's wrist, breaking on impact. Virgil cried out in pain. Patton quickly turn around to see Virgil clutching his wrist in pain with glass sticking out of it. "Oh my God Virgil. Get over here to sink. Quickly. Rinse it while I go get the first aid kit." Patton said before running off. Roman then walks in to see Virgil crying and running water over his bleeding wrist. "Hey Virge what's wro- oh my gosh what happened?" Roman said before gently taking Virgil's wrist in hand. Deceit quickly disappears, his work here done. Roman pulled a pair of tweezers out of his pocket and began pulling the shards of glass out. Patton runs back in with Logan and the first aid kit. "Roman let me see those." Logan says as he pulls a pair of smaller glasses out of his pocket and puts them on. Logan cuts open Virgil's sleeve and pulls out the tinier shards. Logan takes note of the scars under the flow of Virgil's blood. He notes that they run up his forearm.  But Logan doesn't say anything, at least not right now. After making sure that he got all the glass shards out, Logan wraps Virgils arm in gauze. "There you go. You'll need to change the gauze every so often but besides that it should be fine." Logan says after throwing the glass shards away. "Thanks guys. Imma go to my room for a bit. 'Kay?" Virgil says as he rubs the back of his head and walks out of the kitchen, trying to cover his wrist with what was left of his sleeve. Logan takes this opportunity to talk to Virgil about those scars. Logan stands in front of Virgil's dark oak door and knocks on the dark wood. "Come in." a phase they're all still getting used to hearing from Virgil sounds from in the room. Logan step into the room and closes the door behind him. "Virgil, is everything ok?" Logan looks up at him, sitting on his bed playing on his phone, in a new shirt without a cut sleeve. "Yeah, why?" Virgil gives him a side glance. "Well you kind of ran out of the kitchen and I didn't want to say this in front of the other because I didn't know how you would react but I saw your scars. I don't know how fresh they are or how long they've been there but I just want to make sure that you're ok and everything." Logan rubbed the back of his head. "Ok first of all, I ran out the kitchen because I didn't want to have a panic attack from so many people being around me and touching me. I'm glad you didn't say anything because they would both freak out and probably try and grab my arm, sending me into a panic attack. They're pretty old because after the accepting anxiety video I stopped. I felt loved and cared for and I knew it would hurt you guys if you found out." Virgil said as he messes with his hands. Logan walks over to the bed and sits next to Virgil. Logan gently wraps his arms around Virgil. Virgil wraps his arms around Logan's chest. Knock, knock! Virgil and Logan look up to see Deceit, stand outside Virgil's closet. "I'm sorry Virgil. I was the one who knocked the bottle over and I didn't know it would hurt you so bad. I'm sorry. But they couldn't know. What a lovely time to lie." Deceit said the last part bitterly. Virgil and Logan laughed. "Have you tried using a double negative?" Logan asked. Deceit shook his head "I'm not not going to try that. Hey, it doesn't not work." Deceit smiled. Now they could know when he was lying and telling the truth. "Wait you knew about the scars Deceit?" Logan asked, looking at Deceit in confusion. "Yes I did. And I hate that I was one of the reason he was doing it. I didn't not egg him on, whispering bad things in his ear." Deceit answered, hanging his head in shame. "It's ok Dee. I'm over that, I'm better." Virgil said as he went up to hug Deceit. Deceit had tears streaming down his face. "I'm sorry. I'm just so sorry. I regret it so much." Virgil kept mumbling to Deceit that it was alright. Virgil looked back at Logan to see dark eyeshadow under his eyes. "Logan you need to get out of here. You're being corrupted." Logan nodded and ran out of the room. "Virgil, Logan, dinner's ready!"Patton shouted upstairs to them. Virgil dragged Deceit out with him. "You ok Lo?" Virgil asked, seeing Logan sitting outside his room. "Yeah, just trying to calm down." Logan said as he looked up, he had very light eyeshadow under his eyes. " 'Kay. You want me to tell Patton?"  Virgil asked. Logan nodded. Virgil went downstairs with Deceit and told Patton that he and Logan were hanging out in his room and Logan was calming down. "What's up Snek boi?" Roman asked Deceit. Deceit looked down sadly. "Hey is everything ok? You both look so sad." Roman said with concern. "I have something to tell you guys. But before I do, you should that it was a long time ago and we've all overcome that and I'm better. But back when I first got here I felt unloved, hated, and like no one cared what happened to me." Virgil said before rolling up his sleeve, the one without the gauze under it to reveal the scars. Patton ran up to Virgil and hugged him and cried into his shoulder. Roman looked like he felt so bad. "There, there Patton. I'm better and I don't do that anymore. And you were never the reason for it. You one of the reasons I stopped." Patton pulled away and looked into Virgil's eyes "Really?" "Really." They heard sob come from Roman. "I'm sorry Virgil. I know that I was one of the reasons you did that. I'm so sorry. I didn't realize I was hurting you. I hope you can forgive me. It was a terrible thing for me to do. I shouldn't be called a prince. No prince would ever hurt his family." Roman said as tears ran down his face. Virgil gave sad smile and hugged Roman. "I forgive you, Ro. I wasn't the nicest person to you either. And you may be right about you being one of the reasons I did it but you eventually became one of my reasons to stop. I wanted to be strong, like you." Virgil said as he pressed his face into Roman's chest, rubbing his face into the white cloth making sure to get his black makeup on it. "But to make me feel better, you may want to look at your shirt. Not just yet," Virgil said before quickly hiding behind Patton "now you can." Roman looked down at his shirt to see smeared black eyeshadow and pale foundation. "Ha, jokes on you. You have now have no makeup on." Roman sticks his tongue out. Virgil smiles and shakes his head. "At least I look good with out makeup." Virgil quips back. Roman gasps and puts his hand on his chest. The teasing continues throughout dinner, where Deceit joins the for of them (Logan finally comes down). Virgil starts wearing t-shirts and tank tops and Roman gives him a cream to get rid of the scars. But he doesn't use it. He wants to be reminded of how strong he is.
