The female was abruptly awoken by an unfamiliar but loud pounding at her front door.

Immediately, she was given internal hope he was at her door. His name slipped past her lips as she got up from her bed, and paced the door.

Unfortunately, it was not him.

"May I come in?" The friendly voice of her sister took away her hope for the day.

"Yeah," she mumbled as she turned around and started walking to the kitchen. "Are you hungry? I just woke up."

"How about we get some food? After you take a shower, though!" The female giggled.

"Sure."

"So how are you feeling?" Her sister questioned with concern as she took another sip of her coffee.

"What do you mean?"

"Ever since... U-Uh," her sister stuttered, attempting to avoid the actual term of a breakup. "Since your separation."

"What are you talking about?

"Didn't your boyfriend leave you? That's what mother told me."

The sad female didn't respond, instead she stood from her seat and left her sister alone. She ignored the multiple screams her sister made of her name, and walked multiple blocks to reach her home.

On her walk she checked her phone yet once again,

"No missed calls," the phone read.
