MARCO DALLAS
"How dare you call Mommy and Daddy that?" The boy said. Anger took over me and scared the living crap out of him.
"Shut up! And don't interrupt us again!" The boy ran over to hide behind his father's legs, crying.
Enzo stepped forward, ready to defend his son but Elle held him back. She whispered something to him.
He carried his babygirl in his arms and took his son's hand, and left. Elle stalked to her table while looking outside the window. "Can the other 6 leave Marco and I to talk?" She asked not turning back.
They left without a word to say. Elle breathe in and out before taking a seat, so can I.
Silence. No one dared to utter a word. It's like if you talk, you'll die.
"I cancelled my dinner with Enzo and the kids. I told Enzo to tell the employees to close the cafe early. Just to talk to you privately." She looked at me and I saw pain in her face and voice.
"Why?" I asked, sarcastically. Liking the look and voice she's giving me.
"Marco...I...I'm...sorry..." She burst out. I didn't move an inch to comfort her.
I have a reputation to keep.
"Why are you apologising?" I questioned her sudden action but she didn't answer.
"I can't do this...please leave...I want to be alone..." She said, in between her sobs. I left her alone with unbearable pain in my chest.
What's wrong with me?
The cafe was deserted when I left. I guess, the guys left. Literally. I took out my keys and drove away.
