Angels POV
We went back to the car in silence. He opened the door for me and I sat in and waited for him to jog around the front to sit in the car.
"You okay?" Gavin asked.
Course I'm okay I just argued with my foster mother outside the ITU in which my foster father was admitted. What do you think Gav?
"I'm good" I offered him a smile before he started the car. 20 minutes later we were outside my house. I looked at Gavin confused.
"Get your stuff and we'll be going." he said as we both got out the car.
I opened the gate of my house and I stopped halfway.
"Gav do you hear that?"
"Jesus that is disgusting"
I cringed at the sound of moans and heavy panting coming from my neighbours. How loud could they be? Thank god I'm moving.
"I'll be right back," I said to Gavin as I opened the house door. I ran up and packed all my things. From underwear to fancy dresses in a humongous suitcase. I know I shouldn't burden Gavin like that from the encounter with my ever so delightful mother i had no plans of coming back. Ever. It sounds terrible I know but when you're in my position you'll understand. The bruises on my back haven't healed since the last beating. I didn't want anymore. I wiped a few tears from my face as i wobbled down the stairs with my suitcase.
"Let me help you,"
Gavin took my suitcase as I fixed the bag on my shoulder. I was never a person that liked handbags. I would be that one girl you'd see in school with the adidas messenger bag but my stuff wouldn't fit in it and I'm 18. I have to become a girl now.
We went to Gavin's house but not before seeing the a girl ( that I've never seen in this neighbourhood) do the walk of shame out of Niall's house. Literally two seconds after she was gone Niall came out.
"Where you going?" he asked as if I didn't just meet him 10 hours ago.
"Somewhere" i replied
"Are you not staying here anymore"
"No"
"Oh okay"
"Bye"
"Bye"
...
"Well that was awkward" Gavin speaks my thoughts and the rest of the journey goes silent.
...
"So this is my house, just my house," he says proudly as we both sit on the couch.
"I honestly feel so bad Gav I'm burdening you for no reason and I promise I'll pay the bills and-
"Angel" Gavin says, obviously humoured at my rambling "Shut up"
I chuckle "But seriously I'm going to pay for grocery and stuff yeh?"
"Um we'll talk about that later. Lets get rooms sorted. "He said
I nodded but made a mental note to pester him about that later.
