A tear slipped down her cheek as she stared at the girl standing in front of her. She was pale and so fragile looking. She couldn't even recognize her anymore. The once highly, happy girl was now just a shell of herself. Her eyes raked down her scarred body, flinching as she recalled the reason behind each and every cut. Another tear slipped past as she remembered that he was the reason for all of this. The cuts. The not eating. The not sleeping. Everything was because she had fallen for the wrong guy once again. All she wanted was to not feel at all. To feel numb from all the pain. But alas, that would never be the case. No matter how many times she tried to tell herself that she didn't care, she knew she always would. She tried everything to get him off her mind. Drinking didn't help for as long as she wished it would, and the drugs were never strong enough to take away the pain. All the careless sex she was having didn't help her either. It only made her feel worse when all she could think about was him. The way he was so gentle yet rough at the same time. The way he would always look her in the eyes as he made love to her. The way he would whisper sweet nothings in her ear and just hold her after they were finished. By this time, she found herself sobbing. Why didn't he want her? Why did he feel as though she needed to live without him? Why would he promise to be different, when he was clearly just like everyone else who had ever broken her heart. Why her? She was making herself dizzy with all the unanswered questions swirling around in her head. Her eyes trailed down once more, remembering her initial intentions as her eyes met the bottle of pills in her hand. Kneeling down, she unscrewed the cap and poured the contents of the bottle out onto the floor in front of her. Her sobs grew louder with every pill she swallowed, until there were none left. Within seconds, she could feel her life fading away. She used the last of her strength to type out one last message.

I'm sorry... I love you...

She lied down on the floor, letting one final tear fall before she closed her eyes for the very last time. She was finally at peace.
