Her fingers raked through her hair as she paced back and forth in front of the bathroom sink. A million thoughts ran through her as she checked the time on her phone. She still had two minutes left before she could check the test.
Taking deep breaths, she tried to calm herself down. For all she knew, this could all just be a scare. She was lost in thought when her timer finally went off, causing her to jump slightly.
She reached a shaky hand out, carefully picking up the small white stick. Upon looking at the test, she felt her blood run cold.
It was positive...
How could she have let this happen? They had been careful every time, or so she thought. How was she going to tell the father? He left weeks ago and wanted nothing to do with her anymore. She was entirely alone and didn't know how to handle it.
