It was three weeks until the Sports Festival, according to Aizawa. During those three weeks, the students were required to train by themselves in order to become the best. Kaoru knew that she was going to have to use and train her quirk to the best of her ability, however she knows that it could potentially ruin someone's life.
As usual she skipped the lunch room to go up to the roof. It was raining that day, but she didn't care. It was her usual spot, and absolutely nothing was going to take it away from her. That day was different though. Bakugou was there laying against the wall with tiny snores escaping from his usually obnoxious mouth. But this was in the different world, so he was actually really peaceful. She smiled at him, walking over and sitting next to him.
I wonder what happened the other day? He hasn't been here for the last few days.
She looked at her tiny hands sadly. Even though she knew it was wrong, a dull light started to emit from her left palm. A pained expression was worn on her normally happy face. Her mother always forbade her to use her quirk, which is why she hasn't used it in six years. It's been six years since her father was put into a mental hospital.
Gulping down the last of the saliva that was built up in her mouth, she pressed two fingers against Bakugou's forehead. It looked as though he was having a nightmare, and she can see what was happening.
Bakugou's Mind
Bakugou was out in the rain, running around in search of something. He peered around corners, a spark radiating from his right hand. When he didn't find what he was looking for, he continued onto the next street.
"Makoto!" He shouted, a worried expression plastered on his face. His breath and heart rate was increasing rapidly. The way the rain fell down his face made it seem like he was crying although he wasn't, rather he was about to.
"Makoto!" He shouted once again. He turned another corner, spotting someone running. He dashed towards the unknown figure in hopes that he'd know where his brother was. When he finally caught up to the person, he grabbed his shoulder to force the man to look at him. His eyes widened when he realized who he was.
"Kaneta-sensei?" He asked in bewilderment. Kaneta was Bakugou's and is Makoto's second grade teacher. The middle-aged man gave him a scared expression. That lead Bakugou to be suspicious. "Do you know where Makoto is?"
"I don't know where he is. Please, let go of me," he spoke as though he was afraid. Bakugou smirked, igniting another spark, causing the man to jump.
"You clearly know something, don't you?" Bakugou's tone took a 360 from nice to evil in half a second. Suddenly, the spark in his hand became bigger and brighter. Kaneta gritted his teeth, trying not to let the words out. "Come on, Kaneta-sensei." Bakugou slowly moved his hand towards him to where it was a mere twenty centimeters away from his face.
"Fine! I'll tell you!" He exclaimed. Bakugou brought his arm down and diminished the spark. "A man named Shigaraki has him. He was using Makoto to tempt other UA students like yourself to go to him."
"How do you know this?" He questioned.
"Because," he started, looking down to his feet, "I work with him."
That was when Bakugou went crazy. He instantly made a huge explosion, bringing it to Kaneta. His body flew towards a nearby wall and fell to the ground. He stomped over to the man, the sound of his feet hitting puddles with each step he took. He grabbed ahold of the man's collar and brought it up to him.
"That's what you get for working with him." He let go of him, causing his head to hit the edge of the building. Creating another explosion, he hit it against the man's waist. "And that's what you get for letting your own student into harm's way."
