Broken Mirror (Katsuki Bakugou)

Chapter 9: Surrender

"Come on, Kaoru! Put some more strength into it!" Midoriya shouted at her while dashing towards her. His arm lit up like he was going to use his quirk. Getting prepared, she crossed her arms over her body to take the hit. Nearby was Bakugou observing and analyzing all of her moves and techniques to critique her afterwards. After a successful block, she noticed that his arm was not broken.

"I-Izuku," she stuttered out, "y-you're arm isn't broken."

Midoriya stretched his arm out to see what she has been talking about, and to his surprise, it wasn't purple. He curled his hand and released, then brought his arm to his side. He gave her a closed eye grin, her doing the same. Before he had anytime to think, she grabbed a fragrance and sprayed it on herself. She suddenly disappeared. However, if you looked closely enough, there was a thirty centimeter red head dashing towards Midoriya with fists at both of her sides.

While he was still searching for her, she climbed onto his back, causing him to jerk around to throw the feeling off, but to no avail. She reached his right shoulder, and with a tight fist, she threw her arm at his head, sending him flying towards a dumpster. Once his back hit it, she hopped off before any garbage could fall on his head. In a matter of three seconds, the scent wore off, and she was back to her normal size. She turned around to give Bakugou a thumbs up, thinking that she won. But by the hand movements and expression he gave her, she knew that the battle wasn't over.

Midoriya was behind her with his hand in the air directly next to her head. However, he used his quirk. Before she had the time to think, his fist went flying towards her head. Before his hand could touch her, Bakugou's hand grabbed his wrist, immediately ceasing the powerful quirk.

"That's enough for today," he said, letting go of Midoriya's wrist. When he looked to the green haired boy, he realized that he wasn't himself; it seemed as though he was being controlled by someone else. His eyes were dull and his features held no emotion whatsoever.

"Who's out there?" Bakugou called out. He suddenly sensed a presence nearby. He ran towards the person, grabbing him by the collar. The man had brown hair the same way that Bakugou's was styled. His eyes were as black as the night sky.

"Who are you and what business do you have here?"

"As if I'd tell you," the man smirked. Bakugou's eyes were raging. His hand formed into a fist and swung it at the foe, but it froze a few centimeters away from his face. Bakugou's eye twitched with anger. "Now, I will tell you that my quirk controls people's bodies, as you saw with your hand and your friend over there." That pompous voice annoyed the crap out of him. "Now, if you could please let me go, I can introduce myself to you and your friends." Bakugou's hand unwillingly released his collar. The man walked forward toward the other two, the angry blonde following behind him.

"Hello, my name is Watanabe Ame. My quirk is Body Control. I am in class 1-B. Nice to make your acquaintance, Ishino-chan, Midoriya-kun," he bowed, then turned around to him. "Bakugou-san." He returned to his previous position, in the rich kid, straight-backed position. It annoyed everyone, but Bakugou the most. "I am sorry for intruding on your little practice session, but you see," he started, walking forward to Midoriya. He sauntered behind him, placing a hand on Midoriya's neck gently. "I can't help but control someone who is very powerful." He then approached Kaoru. "And you, young girl, appear to be just the right match for this All Might wannabe. Whad'ya say, Bakugou-san or Midoriya-kun?"

Kaoru's eyes opened with fear. What would be the right thing to say? Both of their eyes were locked on her, awaiting for her final answer. Bakugou actually knows of her past while Midoriya doesn't know much. Bakugou knows that she switched dimensions, Midoriya doesn't seem to have taken notice. They're both really great people.
