The Nerd and The Bad Boy

Chapter 5

What in the world? Who just says they are taking you somewhere special and then shoved you in a car? I'm gonna get murdered right? Yup. I'm gonna die. Tell my parents I love them. Make sure all my books get donated to a library or kids that could need them I guess.

Okay now I'm just bored. We have been driving for forever and I'm getting car sick. He won't even turn the radio on. Who drives without music? It makes everything so awkward. Finally he stops the car IN THE MIDDLE OF THE WOODS. "Close your eyes." WHAT? Is he crazy? "No. For all I know you're gonna take me into the woods to kill me." He laughed. "If I was gonna kill you I wouldn't do it in the woods." Well ain't that reassuring? NOT.

I decided to trust him and let him lead me into the creepy woods. I keep on tripping over things so he picked me up and carried me bridal style. That was weird. Really weird. Finally he put me down.

He took the blindfold off and I saw the most beautiful sight ever. It was a waterfall. The sun lit it up so perfect that it made the water sparkle. There were some rocks on the side that you could sit on and put your feet in the water. The water was so clear that you could see that the bottom had some small pebbles and even some sea shells. How are there sea shells in this little pond? This is so cool. I was in ah. "It's beautiful." He smiled. "I'm glad you like it. It's my secret place. I go here when I need to think. Well I guess not just mine anymore." I was happy he showed me this even though he did it in the creepiest way possible.

As I stood there for a little bit I decided to do the craziest thing. I started to stripe into my bra and underwear. "What are you doing?" "Going swimming duh." He just laughed at me but when I got down to only my bra and underwear he shut up real fast. What has he never seen a girl in their bra and underwear? I climbed to the top of the waterfall and got ready to run. Then I took a dive straight into it. As I came to the surface I see Reece stripping down too. He jumps in once he is in his underwear. Once he was in I got to really see this body. And may I just say that his eight pack was to die for.

I decided to go under the waterfall. It was even more beautiful then the outside. Then Reece came to join me. He gave me this weird look. He started to inch closer to me till our noses were almost touching. Out of no where he kissed me. I didn't react at first and just let it happen but after a few seconds I pushed him away and started to swim away from him. "Mariana, wait." He was catching up to me fast. I made it to shore and grabbed my clothes and ran for it. "Mariana please stop." I can see he is close. He is going to catch up to me soon so I pushed all the power I had in my legs and ran faster.

I made it to the car and then realized I would have to ride with him so I started to run back the way we came in just my bra and underwear. Bad idea, it was freezing out. I could hear the car start in the distance. I ran for awhile when he caught up to me. "Mariana get in the car. You're going to freeze to death." "I don't care. There is no way I am getting in that car with you." He stopped the car and I heard the door open and shut. Then he grabbed me. Jerk! I tried to get out of his hold but couldn't. He is one strong man. Or I'm just really weak. Probably the second one. "Let me go. You had no right to kiss me. How dare you... you.... you piece of crap." He just shoved me into the car. Well that was rude. "Listen. I'm sorry. I don't know what came over me. I just felt the need to kiss you. You're so different from all the girls at school. For some reason I feel a pull towards you. Ever since we ran into each other. I didn't mean to be so rude to you before. I'm sorry."

I was taken back a bit by that. How was I different? Why does he feel this pull towards me? I'm nothing special. Sure I don't wear clothes that only cover half of my body but I still wasn't that different. I stayed silent for awhile. "Okay." Thats all I could seem to say. I didn't know what to say. How do even think of anything in a situation like this? This has never happened to me before. Ever. I haven't had a guy kiss me out of nowhere. My make out session with Jake was a dare and I let Tony kiss me to prove a point. Which I lost. I never felt done the whole spontaneous kissing thing before. I thought they always wanted to date me because of my parents so I didn't really do anything with them other then makeout. But they still never tried to kiss me or anything.

The drive home was so quite. No one was talking and once again the radio wasn't on. I was still in my bra and underwear but he turned the heat on so I wouldn't get cold. It was very nice of him to do after the stunt he pulled. As we got to my house I just said a quick goodbye and got out. Just as I was about to open the door, I got turned around. Then next thing I know is that there was a warm pair of lips on mine. I was in shock. After a few seconds I started to kiss back. I hoped I was going this right. Some how this kiss seemed weirdly amazing. It felt familiar. But it was done as soon as it started. After I register it's done, I opened my eyes to see who it was.
