Every morning has a smile on my lips.

I sway to the rhythm of what life is,
Of what my life could be.

Every sunrise start with the same upbeat rhythm.

Hips side to side, a pirouette, a leap, the music takes off and than,

My body gets heavy, the music stops and I fall to the ground, missing the landing.

Im on my knees, being witness of the the killing of a proud men I used to know.

I see him everyday, spoiled, he's white and grey, made of air

Eyes sunken down, he hides in the closet and crawls away to hide his rotting body.

But it's no use everyone sees him, everyone knows the smell of chemicals in the air, everyone knows why his teeth are falling off, everyone can smell his rot.

Those around him shared a quick  glazed look, a smile without teeth that does not reach the eyes.

We all have our heads down, for we all know deep inside it won't be long before the flies start to surround him.

But I am up again, I remember his secrets. I remember the hurt and the pain, I remember his evil.

And so the music starts up again but this time it's slower carrying a underlying tone of doom.

Left arm up, head to the side, foot to the back a quick turn,

Two steps to the left

Two steps to the right

Three steps back

A look to the front, and I catch sight of her.

A women, who carries on her back a bag bigger than herself.

She's hunched over, her hair is in her face, eyebrows furrowed, sweat falling from her face. Her gaze is fix at the end of the road.

The punishing sun beats down on her, she's walking on gravel without shoes. Every step she takes causes her pain, but she doesn't drop her bag, she doesn't treat her wounds.

She simply takes nothing but a second to breath in deep, close her eyes, breath out.

And she takes another step, skin peeling off but she keeps on.

And so the beat becomes faster, every note is harsh and fast, a turn, a kick and I dance

I dance for her, for her pain, because she deserves the best out off me

And so I dance
