It's been a month since school began and things appear to have calmed down to a degree. No outcast Ayashi picking a fight, no misunderstandings leading to a violent confrontation and no one trying to take over the school in some convoluted plan. As for Fumetsu's current whereabouts, he's sitting at his desk, wistfully listening to Ms Nekonome's current class. "Well then, everyone. This academy's goal is to train monsters to adapt to human society...just as I've been saying all along. So that means..." the neko teacher turns to face the class with a bright smile on her face. "Starting today, you're all going to take up club activities!" Most of the class reacts as though everything is normal while a particular human boy begins to quietly freak out. Meanwhile, Ms Nekonome continues with her explanation. "We'll get a deeper understanding of humans by experiencing human-made activities through some sweat in club activities! To transform into humans perfectly, we must have a clear understanding of humans!" A student interrupts their teacher, trying to tell her that her tail is popping out from beneath her skirt once again. Ms Nekonome looks back, blinking a few times before scratching the student's face in embarrassment. "Understand? Everyone will participate in club activities! Everyone, please visit a lot of groups and decide which one you want to enter. Be sure to visit the newspaper club that I'm the advisor for, ok!" After that shameless self promotion, homeroom ends and the students are now free to explore the various club stands throughout the school.
After expertly navigating between the sea of excited students, going unnoticed by all of them, Fu eventually comes across a pair of students wearing white Gi's. The larger of the two stands beside the shorter one as he collects money from students. "Come on! All you have to do is break these tiles and you'll be rewarded with 50,000 Yen! All it'll cost is a 1000 Yen entrance fee and the fierce will to succeed!" The carnival-like event catches Fu's intrigue, prompting him to move closer. The smaller of the two club members notices him. "You there! Are you a first year? How about it? Care to give it a go?" The onyx eyed boy can practically see the greed oozing off the bald student.
Fu smiles towards the two. "I guess I could give it a go. You won't laugh if I don't do too well though, right?" The boy does his best impression of a timid, weak person, basing his performance on Tsukune. The bald student laughs for a moment before responding. "Of course not! We of the Karate Club aren't a bunch of degenerates. Just show us your fighting spirit!" He shouts eagerly; confidence brewing beneath his kind façade. "Alright then, here's the fee." Fu hesitantly hands the student the 1000 yen entry fee, still keeping up his own façade. "Alright, just stand in front of the tiles and give it your best shot." He states, pointing towards a place in front of a stack of approximately 25 concrete-grey tiles. Fu nervously stands before them as the bald boy begins counting his money. Taking a poor stance, Fu raises his hand above his head before bringing it down upon the tiles with astonishing speed, shattering every tile in his way.
The blunt sound of the tiles being broken in half reaches the club member's ears, causing them to look up at the scene. Their jaws drop as they see the supposedly meek boy standing in a pile of rubble with a bleeding hand, gazing back at the pair with expectant eyes. "I did it. That's 50,000 Yen, right?" The bald student doesn't seem to know what to do. On the other hand the larger student, larger in both height and width, steps forward threateningly. "Sorry, but we didn't see what happened so there's no way we can just hand you the money." "Isn't that your fault?" Fu responds quickly, interested in how the two plan to worm their way out of this. "Kyodai. Make sure he gets what he's earned." The bald man smirks as he commands his larger companion who takes a few steps towards Fu, now standing less than half a metre away before attempting to grab the black haired boy.
Fu simply stands there, allowing the lumbering oaf to grab him by the shoulders. The large boy lifts him off the ground before tightening his grip on the boy, seemingly trying to crush his shoulders. In response, Fu swings his right foot, delivering a powerful kick to the oaf's face. The boy releases his grip as he's sent flying backwards a small distance. "Are you sure you're members of the Karate Club? You're kind of weak." Fu taunts the pair, brushing off any dirt that might have found its place on his clothing.
