My osu! Journey (megu)

Chapter 3: Multiplayer - too hard for me.

May 2018, my third month of playing osu!. New things happened this month.

I finally got many S and SS and later achieved my 100pp rank.
Later, I discovered the Multiplayer, which I didn't care at my early days.
I made friends, and competed them.

I FCed tons of maps, ranging from 1-2 stars, since I am still a noob.
I finally knew how to use HD in the same way. Since I suck at HD, but I am fine with HR.
I casually play with HR on Easy, same with Normal, but sometimes I NoMod on Normal since there are difficutly spikes.

I achieved my feelings what it feels like to be in top 50 for a short time. I did all my best just to get what I want.
These are the maps I remember that made me jump over my room.
Takagi-san (CV: Rie Takahashi) - Chiisana Koi no Uta [Yasai's Normal] - S (FC +HD,HR)

Reol - Ooedo Ranvu [Easy] - S (FC +HD,DT,HR)

Kuba Oms - My Friend [Easy] - S (FC, +HD,DT,HR) (sorry no picture)
...and many more top 50s that I got removed for being noob and my mods.

I can also try 3 star maps but always ending up rank A or B, for some PP farming.
The 3-star maps that I passed are 55x55 feat. Snailkick (sorry I forgot the title of the song, but find it yourself on my profile - megu_san) [Hardkick], Cookie-Butter-Choco-Cookie [Akitoshi's Hard] (not really 3 star but it's on Hard difficulty so yeah..) and osu! MEGAMIX [ReFaller's Hard].

Mentioning back to the osu!Multi I made my important friends, this include Argency and my other Filipino friends who keep sniping me since I am noob.
Because of their ability to pass 3-4 star maps, they also taught myself on how to read AR8, since that AR is unreadable for me last April. But I am sometimes embarrased because I always fail while they keep playing without failing, so I leave the match.
I and Argency are recently running for our rank (only my mind knows that I don't know his mind lol). Sometimes I snipe his ranked score or he sniped my rank score.
If he does snipe me, I do backup, like PP farming maps, ranging from 1-2.85 star maps. I casually play with HR,DT if Easy, HR only for Normal.
But even playing maps, I can't rank up my score.
I also give him the chance of sniping me, he did, so yeah.. I have no comment.
But the important thing is that we enjoy osu!

I also improved myself at osu!CTB (Catch the Beat).
I improved myself by changing my keybinds:
Left and right arrow keys (move) to Z/X
D (dash) to Right Shift
I casually play HR (if AR ranges to AR2-4) and nomod for AR5 and above.
I never use my dash, as a result of choking.

I also let Argency play osu!CTB, he is kinda good, but ends up choking like earlier days of me (osu!CTB).
He also ranked himself on Cranky - Hanaraashi [Normal] (I don't know if he knows it that he is inside the top 50). He got an A rank (better than me on my earlier days, because I am originally a CTB player, but now, I casually play !standard and CTB).
But when I saw his score, I want to snipe him. So I played that map. But I choked. :(
At least I am rank S (wait, if you choked why S?). Providing that 99% accuracy.
I remember I am rank 7. Yay.

Long chapter, isn't it?
Currently I am sitting at rank 300k and rank 60k for CTB.
But it will change as time passes.
This novel will delay a bit since I am not allowed to use gadgets always when it's school time, I am only allowed to use my gadgets when it's school break. Please be patient. Anyways, stay tuned for the next chapter!
