Maybe there's a difference between loving and being loved.
You loved me through the depths of your soul, I disliked you as much.
You loved me through all my flaws, accepted them, accepted me, just the way I was.
You poured out all your love, all your attention, and all that I didn't deserve.
2 years 4 months and 15 days later, here I am, still in the depths of my mind
wondering why I let go
of what was meant to be mine
of someone that gave me the love and care, nobody in my life would.
