"No Morgan, you can't do this!" Hadie rushed to me.

"Yes I can Hadie, Ben's life is more important than mine." I held his hand as Uma stared at us.

"We were going to go to Auradon remember and live happily ever after?" His eyes filled with tears.

"Ugh you're making me sick." Uma gagged.

"It's for the best, go live your life in Auradon. Live for me Hadie." I smiled at him and kissed him one last time before Uma kicked him off of the boat.

"Now, time to whip you into shape." Uma laughed as her and her crew surrounded me.

I breathed hard as I heaved the bags of food in my hands, the restaurants shipment to be exact. Everyone seemed to stare at me as I walked down the gravel road. They seemed to scan me head to toe to look at the bruises and cuts on my pale skin. Uma and her men had kicked and punched me as punishment for running away. That was how I was punished now, no more being sent to the pantry but now a kiss with a fist if things go wrong. I sighed in relief when I finally reached the back room of the restaurant. I carefully stocked the inventory on the shelves and went out to sweep the floor and clean any mess that people had left. Uma and her friends threw things and laughed at me while I cleaned. I hadn't seen Harry in a few days, but it didn't matter, his sister, Harriet had probably told him of everything she'd seen.

The only time I feel joy now is when the tv is on and the news does a report on Auradon prep. How I wished I could be there and see all of my friends. I stayed up late to watch the cotillion that night and saw how sad they were without me.

As I was washing tables I overheard Uma talking to her friends. She said something about a spell and an event going on at Auradon, but I was torn away by someone spilling their drink on the floor.

By the end of the day, I'm just happy to be sent to my pantry and read a book I had stowed away in the little space. I liked books that related to me, Cinderella, Repunzel, but Jay had given me a new book before they left; Harry Potter and The Sorcerers Stone. It was about a boy who was a slave to his aunt and uncle, just like me and he slept in a tiny closet under the stairs. I could relate to Harry and spoiler alert! He's a wizard! Though, I really don't have any magic on the Isle , Harry had gotten me through that first, sore night back in the pantry.
