As the days went along, Mal and I had become close friends. She was nice for a villain especially since she had come back to remember the person she was. It turns out that she has more problems with Uma then I ever had like evil lifetime enemy stuff. She also was really rooting for me to go on a date with Hadie, who had visited on most days. And that's how I ended up looking into a mirror in an Evie-made romper and Mal doing my makeup, which she had become quite good at.
I stared at myself in the mirror, definitely too girly for the Isle.
"Someone might mug me with me looking like this." I said nervously at Mal.
"Let's hope he takes you somewhere nice, I can always kick his butt if you come back unsatisfied." She laughed.
In no time, he was yet again standing on the balcony and knocking on the glass. He was wearing what I supposed was his cleanest clothes, a pair of black skinny jeans and a blue hoodie. A bouquet of roses in his hand.
"How did you get these?" I asked in amazement as he handed me the vibrant red roses.
"I stole a few from the Red Queen's garden he blushed.
"They're gorgeous now go have fun on your date before Hadie's head gets chopped off." Mal rushed us to the front door of the castle.
I laughed as he grabbed my hand and began to walk down the street with me.
"So, where are you taking me?" I said nervously as we began walking to a not so popular part of town.
"You'll see." He smiled.
We walked for a awhile before stopping at the edge of the Isle, where sand met the water. There was a blanket laid down and a basket sitting on the ground next to it. Leading to it were candles, lit by blue flame.
"This is amazing." I turned to him and smiled.
"I thought that you would like it, since it's near the water and all." He sheepishly smiles back.
We both sat and talked and looked at the stars. Suddenly, the pet names were only a part of Hadie that was in public. He wasn't a villain or anything like Hades, he talked of wanting to do good. He wanted to go to Auradon, like me and hated the evil villain kids.
I didn't want the night to end, but we were soon standing in front of the steps to the castle.
"I'll see you tomorrow?" I asked and threw a rock at the sign to unlock the gate.
"Definitely." He smiled and kissed me. I stood still as he walked away, my first kiss stolen by a demigod? Not bad Morgan, not bad.
"I guess I'm going to have to take you with me after this if you keep kissing boys like that." A voice said on the steps above me.
"Jay?" I walked up the stairs to hug the boy I hadn't seen in forever. "Why are you here?"
"To get Mal, she kinda snuck over here, what are you doing over here?" I had completely forgotten what Mal had told me about her escape to the Isle after that kiss, so I was lucky for Jay to jog my memory.
"I've been living here, away from my aunt." I smiled.
"That's great! Maybe you could help us fight Uma?" He cocked a brow at me, his eyes full of hope.
"Fight Uma? I barley even escaped her." Jay knew that I was weak, I couldn't even fight for my own life.
"You can do it, I'll teach you how to use a sword while they work on the plan." He gestured to Mal, Carlos, Evie and some girl that I didn't know sitting in the room talking.
I nodded and Jay happily grabbed two swords.
