"Billy! Dinners ready!" My mum called from downstairs. I looked up, out of my soft pillow. My face was still bright red and I couldn't help play over what had happened with Jason.
"Coming!" I called back before sitting up. I could dwell on such matters later, right now the most important thing was to get some grub.
"How was your day ma cheriè?" My mom asked me as I sat down in front of a plate of spaghetti with a homemade onion/tomato sauce. I poked at it a little before eating a mouthful of spag.
"It was ok." I answered. It was our normal procedure everyday. She'd ask about my school day, I'd give her zero details and then I'd ask her about work and then we'd tidy up and watch some telly. Sadly my mum had other plans.
"So I heard from Jace's mum that the supplies to make cheese sandwiches have diassapeared in her house again. Did you beg for cheese sandwiches again?" She asked me.
By the mention of Jason's name I got completely flustered and red. Luckily my mum thought it was because I was honestly embarrassed about being a free loader.
"You know you could just eat at home instead of always eating at Jace's. I mean one day he'll get tired of filling your empty void of a tummy with cheese sandwiches. Besides it's best if you eat healthy things like fruit and veg instead of milk products. Milk and cheese are for infants." She lecture me for the nth time.
In normal cases I'd have rolled my eyes and said something snarky, but I was too busy fighting off a blush. I stood up suddenly.
"Sorry mummy, I have to go. Please excuse me." I told her before rushing out.
I put on my trainers and pulled up my hoodie before rushing outside. I lived in a big town so there was no chance of me getting anywhere natur-y or quiet. The only thing I could do was walk around the block and get my head sorted out there.
And after a while it did help. I had gathered my thoughts and I knew what I'd do tomorrow when I saw Jason again.
The bastard had stolen my first kiss but he deserved some kind of answer. Unlike him I was going to be mature about this.

I hadn't gotten much sleep last night and that was pretty obvious. I fell asleep during history, I dropped on my English workbook and I accidentally burnt myself on an oven in food tech. The day was going pretty shitty for me until a cute girl came up to me.
She must have been 1 or 2 years younger than me and she was extremely nervous when she was standing next to me outside of the school.
I was waiting there for Jason and she was probably waiting for her friends. I smiled at her in a friendly manner, making her look down to the ground before she looked up again.
"Hey you're called William Boyed right?" She asked me. I nodded. "You won't know me but I'd just like to say thanks for helping me out when I first came to this school."
I had no idea who she was and what she was talking about but I nodded. "No prob. If you ever need anything don't hesitate to ask."
An awkward silence fell over us u til she started conversation again.
"Umm your friend told me that you were looking for a girlfriend so I was wondering if you wanted to go out with me." She was blushing really bad now and I sort of felt sorry for her. She looked down at the ground in a shy manner and I couldn't help but put a hand on her shoulder.
"Thanks for the offer, I really appreciate it, but I've found a troublesome person who I might be harbouring feelings for. Plus, you deserve better than me, you're a lovely girl and you're going to find a proper handsome guy." She nodded and walked away.
