"Hey Jason, so you find blondes attractive?"

"What kind of question is that?" He asked me, to which I shrugged. I bit into the cheese sandwich Jace had prepared before asking another question.

"Hey Jace? You know how you're a really chilled person?" I asked him slowly. He raised his eyebrows before responding.

"Yeah." Taking time to drag out the vowels.

"And you know how much I need you in my life?" I asked again, giving him my most charming smile. He sighed before facing me.

"What do you want Bill?" He asked, although he looked resigned. Nowadays he'd started to act like such an old geezer, everything was tiring for him.

"You'd make a hot blonde." I said, keeping eye contact with him before my eyes shifted down to the wig Jason's hand.

"You want me to dress up as a girl and then take a selfie with me." He concluded. Surprisingly he didn't sound as repulsed as I had thought he would. So I decided to pressure him a little more.

"You know how much this selfie means to me. Please I'm begging you, just put on the wig. Besides, it's not like I'm asking you to date me or anything, that'd just be weird. Its a simple kiss amongst friends. So will you do this for me?" His face turned a little weird before he sighed again.

"Fine, but I don't look like a girl so it'll be a waste of time." I grinned, smugly.

"That, my friend, is where you are wrong. I'll download Snapchat, and then we'll be perfectly fine. I'll just pop down to my house, I'll be back in a sec." I said  before running off.

I had lied to Jace, it wouldn't just be a wig, that'd just be stupid and obvious. Luckily I knew exactly where to get my required items: my house.

Luckily I lived just on the other side of the road from Jace so it didn't take very long for me to get there. I quickly unlocked the door before running up to my mum's room.

Our house was small-ish since I was raised by a single parent and my mum didn't exactly have the most well paid job out there.

She worked at a small cafe where she was busy and on her feet all day but got minimum pay. It was basically a hard labour job that she had to do.

I opened her wardrobe and rummaged through a few dresses before I found a nice white blouse with nice sequins on. I then went into the bathroom and raided my mum's makeup case.

She didn't have a lot of makeup, my mum. But I found some eyeshadow and lipstick. I grinned happily before running back to Jace's.

"C'mere Jace." I said, walking towards him. "I'm going to make you really pretty."

Surprisingly Jace just nodded and sat down so I could put some of this magic makeup on. As I rubbed my eyeshadow covered finger on his closed eye lid I felt his warm breath on my palm.

"Ew could you stop breathing on me?" I asked him, snatching my hand away from his face. He opened his eyes, his facial expression was a mask of annoyance.

"What would you have me do instead, Bill. Stop breathing for the time that you experiment with that makeup crap?"

I was surprised at his sudden outburst, he was always the mature and calm older one in our group. To hear him snapping at me was a new experience.

"Well sorree." I said before continuing with the makeup. I smeared a little bit of lipstick on my finger (one that I hadn't used to put on eyeshadow) before dabbing it gently on his lips. "There, you look perfect. Just put on the blouse and the wig and you're ready."

He opened his eyes slowly before giving me a short nod. I threw the blouse at him and watched him take off his shirt. Just like always, he looked muscly and lean. He had recently gotten broader shoulders, but other than that he was still the same.

"I'd kill for your muscle." I said from behind him. He acknowledged my comment by a short nod. "I'm sorry for saying your breath was disgusting." I added.

"It's fine, I overreacted too. Come on let's get this selfie done." He said, moving over towards me.

I opened the Snapchat app and once I had I put it on a filter that put hearts around us and made us look more flawless than we already were.

"Ready?" I asked him, the addressed person nodded.

I gulped. Come on Bill, this is what you wanted. You can't get cold feet now.

I leaner over to him and kissed him gently on the cheek. His cheek was warm and soft and I could recognise the scent of aftershave on him.

The kiss didn't last very long, and to not make things awkward I sat back and took a look at the selfie. I cleared my throat before saying.

"I'm surprised how feminine you look. Well, thanks for that. I'll be going now." I made my way to the door, but before I could actually get out a hand stopped me.

I turned around to face him with an annoyed expression on my face to mask the awkwardness that I was feeling.

"Wha-" I was interrupted by a short kiss on my lips from Jace. I blinked a couple of times, staring at him, he did the same. I opened my mouth to say something, what I would have said I didn't know; Jace was the first to come back to his senses.

"I'm sorry Bill. I didn't mean to do this in such a hooligan way. But I like really like you." He took a step towards me, making me take a step back. He looked hurt at my reaction. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to sca-"

"Get away from me." I told him, not quite believing what had just happened. He looked even more hurt at that.

"Please Bill, you have to understand." He said, and touched my arm lightly.

Zoom.

I was out of the house in like a second flat, too confused with the situation.

What had happened? What the hell had happened?!

A.n. Hey guys! I was actually not going to put an authors note in this story but I thought it might be best to apologise for how long it took to update and the last scene.

I had to talk this out with my sister since I had no idea how I should make Bill respond to the sudden kiss. I was going to make him flip out entirely but my sister stopped me from doing so.

Thanks for the idea sis, I could have done with less homophobic comments though 😉
