New Job Offer

BEAM POV

Ughhhhhh
That was me groaning as I walked out of the cockpit ,tired , of all the flying we had to do. I ended up in Thailand, which is great as it's my hometown and I wouldn't need to sleep in a hotel or anything..I could just head home and take the nap of a lifetime as the scheduled flights tomorrow starts at 3pm.

Just as I was about to head to my car, I heard my friend, Noh, calling out to me.

"Hey Beam, the boss is calling you! NOW"

Haizzzz,...just when I thought I could head back home peacefully. I grabbed my luggage and placed it in the back seat of my metallic blue BMW and tidied myself up a little as I looked like a mess.

"Can I come in?"
I asked before entering the office.

" Ahhhhh...Mr Beam...I've been wanting to see you...come have a seat!"

I sat on the chair,nervous,wondering why was I called on a short notice...that too after a long and tiring flight.

"The CEO of Jaturapoom Logistics Ltd just called...he is requesting for an experienced pilot from our airlines to fly his private jet during business meetings and holidays...he said that this job was permanent and he would pay a handsome salary to the pilot...since you are young and quite talented...with 70 000 flying hours already in your hands...I would like you to take this opportunity to work as a private pilot for him!"

Huh?!
I was stunned...
" But sir,there are plenty of talented pilots out there who are much much more talented than me ...why me?" I mean I like when he mentioned that I would earn a handsome salary but it's just that I would be leaving all my friends behind and probably unable to see them ever again.

"Because...he had insisted on wanting you as the pilot!"

"What?!...why me?!?... It's not like I know him!"
I said,shocked after hearing what I just heard.

" I don't know his motive when he called you to be his pilot...but all I know is you should become his private pilot because he is not willing to take anyone else!"

"Haizzz...okay sir...I'm up for it"  I said giving up , "So...when do I start?"

" Tomorrow at 11 am!He said it's really urgent"

Well...there goes my plan of sleeping in late tomorrow.

"Then what about my flights?"

"Don't worry...I already arranged everything...just head back home and get some rest...I've got to take this call"

"Okay...thanks sir!"
I walked out of the office and headed to my car parked in the parking lot.

I collapsed on my bed the moment I reached home...I didn't even bother to change my clothes! I just kept worrying about the new job tomorrow until I dozed off.

" Hell begins tomorrow" I murmured before I fell asleep.

FORTH POV

Right after my meeting , my assistant got all the information about Beam. It seems that he is the most successful pilot for his age and covered up nearly 70 000 flying. And since I needed someone to fly my private jet to my business meeting overseas, I used this opportunity to hire him.
