34 - little lies helps

Upon entering the basement, i saw lena weeping.

"Oh look who's here!" i feigned surprised expression.

"You bitch!! My dad will not leave you and when Ashton gets to know about how you are treating me he will kill you" she shouted at me.

"Well what can i say? I love risking my life and what Ashton will do with me? We just have to wait and see, don't we?" I smirked.

"So now lets get to the point, who is the father of your child??" I said in a low voice and going dangerously near her face.

"And if he is Ashton's son then forget that you ever had a son" i told her, before she could say anything.

"Dont even think of lying because the DNA report will be released today evening, i am asking you before its release because i just want to see if i can trust you with this.....so sweetheart don't break my trust or else i will be hurt" i said keeping my hand on the heart and moving in circles aroung her.

"No way you have got anything of my son.....i am sure you have not even seen him yet....so here you are the one who is lying" she said,though i could see the doubt in her voice.

"Oh dont you worry there are many people from your gang who are very close friends of mine.....do you really think its impossible for me to get near your son, then think again" i said giving her a smile.

"Does jackie and drake ring a bell?...aren't they the ones whom you have chosen for your son's security?......interesting, very interesring....i think its a great coincidence that you chose my friends for your son's security, don't you?" i was enjoying this so much.

"You bitch! fucking whore! I will kill you if anything happens to my son" she shouted and her cries got harder. I feel a little bad for her because i would never ever dream of hurting an innocent child even if it is of my enemy.

"You see, its all in your hands now" i reminded her again.

"Alright!! He is robin's son!!!" Her crying got more louder. Finally i sighed in relief because everything about DNA report,drake,jackie etc was a lie and this was the only way for me get the truth out of her,what can i say little lies always helps. That was all the information collected by Ethan. Thanks brother!!

"Great now one last question to you, did you ever loved Ashton?" I asked because i want to know even if its hurtful.

"I did, i loved him alot and i still do but when i cheated on him and got pregnant with robin's child i knew i have to leave him but i dont want to break up with him and tell him the truth of my cheating ass....so i took the help of my dad to handle this situation, it was his idea to declare me kidnapped or missing and then after few years still i wasn't able to forget him and Dad was adamant on destroying Ashton after he attacked my dad and destroyed his main warehouse on his mission, He faced a huge loss because of it and when he got hold of Ashton he was ready to kill him, till the time i got to know about this Ashton was severly tortured in the warehouse and at dying point,i begged my father to let him go and he did but not before giving him drugs which will make his memory loss. I and my father knew Ashton is still searching for me and my son, so dad took advantage of this and sent that rosie girl blackmailing him." I processed the whole information. Now all the pieces were falling in their places. Lena and Ashton's attack mission was the reason behind paul's obsession with destroying Ashton.

"You do know that now he loves me right?" I asked her being serious because i don't want her creating problems in the future.

"Are you sure he will love you after knowing your truth, that you are killer of many and you can bring danger to his family" she said smirking.

"Even if he doesn't atleast my dad wont try to kill him and you should know that he never loved you nor his parents, he was with you because of your pregnancy act......wait with this pregnancy talk i remembered to ask you one more thing..... why did you lied to Ashton that you both slept together that night because as far as i know it was all an act and preplanned." I asked.

"I never said anthing as such Ashton just assumed that we slept just because he was in boxers and i was naked." She said shrugging.

"And why were you naked?" I asked furrowong my eyebrows.

"I was drunk and usually when i am drunk i don't change and just get naked before going to bed"......."what i always feel tired after clubbing" she said when i gave her a look.

I turned on my heels to go to the hospital.

"Wait please let me go, please i want to see my son....ruhinaaaa pleasseee" she was shouting continuosly but i ignored her and kept walking. But not before shouting."Good to know you know me"

Its been 2 days in hospital, Ashton is yet to wake up. I am feeling this new feeling which according to Ethan is called anxiousness. Though i have heard about it, it feels real strange to feel it myself because i dont know what will be the reaction of Ashton will he still love me after what he has seen.I have not spoken or faced my family since the last episode.

About Ashton's condition, Doc says something made him too stressed or it can be that his lost memories got triggered. Nothing can be said clearly until Ashton himself wakes up, which can be any minute now.

Right now i am sitting beside Ashton's bed, holding his hand which soothes me in a way and gives me a sense of comfort that he is alright.

My phone rang and i turned to pick it up when Ashton's hand moved which was held by me. Immediately i set my phone on silent mode.

"Ash come on wake up" i said holding his hand tighter and caressing it.

"Ruh....i..." he craoked out.

"Yes baby, i am right here" i said kissing his forehead.

"Wat..er" he croaked out again, i took the cup filling it up and helping him to drink it. Then i called the nurse pressing the bed side bell. Doc and nurse rushed inside and after the basics doc started the questioning process.

"What all do you remember?" Doc asked.

"I remember my family and me were watching a movie. Someone knocked so i went to open the door, after that there was a gunshot and then everything is blank." He said. And i instantly breath a sigh of relief knowing he doesn't remember me fighting or shooting.

I called everyone as they asked me to.
And informed them about Ashton and also told them not to mention anything about that day to him.

"I didn't mention something infront of doc" Ashton said when i went back to my seat beside his bed. Doc has left,15 minutes back. And as soon as Ashton said that my breath hitched in my throat knowing what's coming next.

" i got my memory back of those two years of military" when he said it,i was definitely not expecting that.

"Do you want to tell me about it?" i asked recovering quickly from my shock.

"Not now, may be later, i am tired" he said and the tiredness was visible on his face.

"Umm ruhi?"he hesitated about what i dont know.

"What happen are you alright? Do you need anything?" I asked.

"I need to pee" he said though his face was poker, his ears gave away by turning pink from embarassment.

"ok lets go" i said bending over him to help.

"No way, call some nurse" he said being stubborn.

"Yes way, i am your wife and i am not allowing any woman to get near you, either you let me help or pee in your pants." I sid firmly not budging on this.

"What?!!...ok you are right you are my wife and its your responsibility to take care of me." He acquiesced. I grinned widely and helped him stand up. But before we can walk he pulled me closed to him and smashed his lips on mine. The tingles and butterflies in my stomach was fierce.

I just hope he loves me even after knowing my truth and i know he will ask me about that gunshot very soon.......
